Samsung went above and beyond with the Galaxy S3. The 4.8" screen is now the standard for smart phones. Large enough to play games and read anything, all while easily fitting in your pocket.
Jelly Bean with Project Butter runs smooth as silk on this dual core beast. Nothing ever slows this phone down. Screen transitions, video encoding, and audio encoding all run extremely fast on this phone. Most users won't be encoding audio and video, but the ones that do will be very pleased.
Samsung has added a lot of value to Android with their software customizations. You can't get features like Direct Dial, Smart Stay, and Share Shot anywhere else. The thought of losing these features has kept me from installing a third party ROM.
I used a Samsung Galaxy Note II this week. While the Note II is a great phone, it is too large in my opinion. The S3 is the perfect form factor for me.
One thing I love about Android, it is so customizable. Samsung's TouchWiz interface is very good, but I prefer more columns and rows for my apps. That is why I installed the Apex launcher. See the attached screenshot.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like everything about the SIII as I evolve into Smart Phone World. The only problems I have had is the voice isn't available to transmit at times. It was not transmitting voice ever but shut itself down one time and has been better ever since. Much happier than my iphone friends.
After using someone else's S3, I went and bought this one at full price. Loving it, never a regret when using this phone.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, fast with 4g, excellent battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

I would give it fives stars for everything except that it occasionally forgets my preferences when I reboot the phone. Other than that frustration, this is the best Android phone I've ever had!
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: occasionally forgets my preferences
I would recommend this to a friend!

There isn't much to say bad about this phone. This is the first version of the TouchWiz user interface that I have liked at all. The gestures and shortcuts built into the UI are fantastic and easy to use. The phone itself feels very comfortable in your hand and is very responsive. The screen is very bright and vibrant. The sound is a bit lacking from the speaker, but I use headphones most of the time anyhow. The built in samsung keyboard doesn't auto-punctuate words like you would expect , which is frustrating sometimes, and it doesn't auto-correct words consistently it seems. The phone can feel a little slick without a cover on it though.
I upgraded to the S3 from a Droid Charge. The biggest and most noticeable feature is the life of the battery. I use my smart phone for work, school, and personal entertainment. I can have a full charge and it will last all day. This includes using the phone for emails, music, short videos, movies, and phone calls. Also, I noticed that most apps and webpages load pretty quickly. The customization and extra features only add to this phone. In my opinion the biggest flaw is the voice commands feature. I noticed that it did not always pick up the right words or do the right command. Voice works very well when using google or text messages and pressing the voice icon. Another flaw is that I did not think the speakers were loud enough for when you want to show others videos or music on your phone.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, easy to use, customizable, battery life
Cons: speakers, voice commands do not always work
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the best phone that I have had. I didn't think that anything would be better than my Galaxy S II. I was wrong. I use my phone for everything...emails, web surfing, social media, games, and making calls.
