No FM Radio, Kies Software Awful

Why Samsung has cut out the over-the-air FM broadcast receiver is beyond me. My understanding is it does work for europeon versions. I like to listen to talk radio which is on the FM band (don't ask me why they don't include AM radio on 'smart phones' here in the U.S. either). Very disapointing.
I have had nothing but issues getting the Samsung Kies software to transfer photos and videos to my PC.
Cons: no fm radio, kies software

Great Phone

This my second Samsung Phone (the first being the Samsung Galaxy SII), and I continue to be pleased, especially with the camera settings built in.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight

BEST smart phone ever!

I'm 65 and learning new tricks is the thing I hate the WORST! I mean, I'd rather clean the bathtub 20 times than to sit and try to figure out how to do things on a friggin phone. That said, this is my second android phone so the learning curve was probably half of what it would be otherwise. Lots of videos on Youtube were extremely helpful...and now! voila! the world is at my fingertips! While the iphone 5 is easier for a senior to learn, I like this phone SO much better. Got a low profile case to protect it and a backup battery and lots of connectors so I can charge everywhere. Frankly, I hope I never have to get another phone...this has EVERYTHING! It's light, slim and easy to carry/use. I was afraid it was large for my "lady" hands...but not so. The notifications are so helpful and once learned, it is very easy to use on a daily basis!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

A true Smartphone

Since acquiring my new Samsung Galaxy S III (previously had a Samsung Fascinate), I have continued to find new, interesting and useful features to this phone.. The best of these features has to be the voice commands and ability to speak to ask a question.. The vibrant colors and large screen make everything easier to see as well..

Love the S3!

I was blown away by the voice recognition for Instant Messaging. Very impressed with the accuracy and speed I could IM.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, great size!
Cons: needs a better camera!

I have had the S3 for 4 months now. I can truly say this is a fantastic phone. I unlock new features all the time still!
There are a lot of websites devoted to the phone, so tips and tricks are all out there for me to view and learn about.
I will say one slightly negative comment...the S-voice is really a lower quality app. Voice Search has you beat hands down. Granted, there are some things the G product won't do, but overall I use the Voice Search for most tasks and S Voice when I have to. It would be nicer to have just one voice activated command application.
