Great phone, with great feaures

First time Samsung user. I heard a lot of great things, and everything has reached expectations and even more some. It has great gesture features like the swiping to text or to call. The touch feedback is great and feels good in hand.
The tap (NCF) feature is great and use it quite often.
Screen is a good size and image/video quality is great.
Pros:

Great phone. Verizon includes instructions on a lot of the feautures on the phone. Easy to use and no problems. Camera is great. This is best phone on market.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

Fast, reliable, and beautiful. By far the best Android phone I have owned so far. No complaints, besides it not being able to teleport me/things.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

This is an awesome phone. Everything is doing good and I've had it for a month now.
The LTE on Verizon is blazing fast. Apps run smoothly. The features like tap to share etc work, but i dont use them much. I would rather use WifiDirect to do the same thing.
Few things that i don't like:
The Verizon version doesn't allow you to switch off LTE to save battery.
By default when you add your google account, it will sync all your photos from picasa and google plus etc. One instance, it ate up 70mb data when not connected on WiFi and ate up my data quota. You can disable this.
The screen is pretty fragile wrt dropping the device. My screen shattered completely when it dropped onto concrete. This is obviously my fault and such phones are not meant to be dropped, but still it shattered to a point that glass pieces were sticking to my hand and the screen wasnt properly readable.

It is definitely MY Galaxy SIII

I love how I can customize my GS3 so that it is uniquely mine. It's easy to glance at my home screen and tell that it is my phone. It's fast and versatile as well as having a better battery life than my previous smartphone. Samsung has a real contender in the Galaxy SIII that I would put up against any other smart phone out there.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, customizable

This is my second Samsung smart phone, coming from the galaxy s2 epic. The s3 is amazing. Very fluid, super easy to operate. Love it!
