Great phone!

I would not trade my phone for any other phone, not even an iPhone. It has a big beautiful display and a fast processor. I prefer Android to iOS because Android is much more open and customizable. NFC is a cool feature. I like to just tap my phone on a tag to do things automatically instead of me having to do it manually. I would defiantly recommend this phone to a friend.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Top of the Line

This phone is the Top of the Line device. The features are amazing. Would love it if Share Shot wasn't wifi only and would work with other S3 or Galaxy devices for people who aren't in the same vicinity. However the Smart Stay on the screen is AWESOME! It's about time someone invented this feature. I LOVE the Burst shot mode as well. Great for capturing toddlers and kids who don't exactly pose well for a camera pic. Also great for those who do pose well. To top it off, it automatically pics the best shot for you! Obviously anyone considering this phone is going for bells and whistles. The Samsung interface is great. The display is also amazing. HD display makes everything better. I now get irritated if I can't view high def content. The LTE makes this great for mobile consumption of data. Plus as if you needed more than 32 GB of storage, it also supports 64 GB micro cards to give a total of 96 GB of space for photos, videos, etc. Great device all around!
This is the best phone out there right now. It does everything I ask of it faster than I could have hoped for. Everyone at work is jealous of my S3 and I've personally converted a bunch of iFans with just a quick look at the screen. Well done, Samsung, well done.
I love the features the phone offers; great camera, fast processor, awesome sound, etc. Ironically though, it has a hard time with just a simple phone call. I've had multiple problems when entering in numeric options and the phone not registering the last digit I enter. I think the auto dimming/power saving option also could use some tweaking. Too often I'm going between brightly lit areas into a darker area and the screen takes awhile to detect and adjust. Overall, this is a great phone, I recommend it to anyone who loves playing on smart phones; but it's not the device for someone who just wants to make a call.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations
I would recommend this to a friend!

Samsung Galaxy S3

Good device, small learning curve with Samsung's software/bloatware preinstalled. Thin and very light, fast and simple to use.
I love the phone but it really needs some work on the internal radio and WiFi, if you aren't in a good 4G area you will get dropped quite a bit with this phone, if it wasn't for the features and design I would be going back to my iPhone 3GS and waiting another month for the iPhone 5. The screen and speed of this device is awesome, if it wasn't for the horrible reception for both WiFi and 4G I would have given this 5 stars across the board. My performance rating of 3 stars is all due to the reception issues I have had.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, fast processors, microsd slot
Cons: poor modem / wifi reception
I would recommend this to a friend!

So good, if you don't use a mac.

So I was so anxious to leave the iphone and iOS. So I took the plunge and really appreciate the ability to customize my phone. I even love the size of the phone and screen and I'm no Huge Hands Hanz by any means. The actual phone quality is ok and an engineering feat of an iPhone but who cares. The only problem is I can't sync my phone with my mac and the updated Mac OS. Even with Samsung's update this week, I still can't sync or even get recognized. Check the forums to confirm this.
This wouldn't be such a big deal but after investigating Samsung's history of updating the Android OS I have learned that they're not dependable at all. Maybe this is limited by Verizon, but I'll be returning my phone now and going back to the mediocrity of the iPhone and iOS. Too bad Samsung, so much promise but no delivery. If you're a windows user, I would buy with confidence. Beware Mac users.
