I decided to upgrade to the Galaxy S3 after realizing the new Nexus phone would most likely not come to Verizon and that the Note 2 was a little bit too big and pricey for me at the moment. I was excited about it because it seemed like a great phone from my research. I was not excited about Touchwiz however. I have used older Samsung devices and have always hated their versions of Touchwiz. Samsung proved that they definitely listen though. The new Touchwiz is extremely polished and I have found that I love it. Originally my plan was to root it and move away from Touchwiz immediately, instead I have left it as is happily.
Thank you Samsung for proving me wrong and giving me a pleasant surprise. :)
One con about it though is it is not a very durable device. I recommend getting a case for it if you buy it. I am currently waiting on my order for the Ultra Slim cases from Samsung for light protection around the house(to not have scratches) and a more heavy duty case for when I am doing things where it might get damaged.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, great quality, fast & smooth, feature rich, touchwiz, expandable storage
Cons: not extremely durable

Love My Galaxy S3

The only improvements for me would be to move the power button to the top and have access to the SD Card without having to remove the back cover. Other then that, I REALLY like the phone. Design, screen, speed...It's probably the best phone I've owned so far. Great job.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, ram amount.

I replaced my droid razr, with this phone and am very happy with the decision. This phone does what I want it to and does not constantly crash the way my razr did.

I use this phone as an extension of my office. I am a minister and I write my sermons on it. I hope to get e Tab 2 tablet, but until then, I can use my phone to do this. It is a great phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, works as it is supposed to., can extend memory.
Cons: power button is opposite the volume.
