I absolutely LOVE this phone. However, after owning it for two days and keeping it in my pocket as I have done with every phone I have ever had, it has already developed cracks in the glass. Of course the place I purchased it at would not help me. Yes I have insurance, but come on. I can't afford to pay a deductible every 2 days.
Cons: Poor quality, fragile!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor sound, poor camera, screen on camer unusable in daylight, very hard to navigate. Makes incredible errors. Very non responsive. My old blackberry is 100 X better. Only feature is good size screen. Went back to where I bought it and got very little assistance. Speakers poor

Major Voice Prompts Issue

As capable as the S3 is, it has inconsistent voice prompts which prevent it from working with my Motorola Roadster 2 or my Motorola T325 bluetooth device. Also the S-Voice system cannot differentiate between; Mary, Mary Brown and Mary Smith. When I say "Mary", it says there are several, but there is no voice prompt to allow selection without looking at the phone "text" response.
Without a solution, I will be returning the phone.

Galaxy S3 All Hype

I purchased the S3 last week only to find that Samsung took the features that were available in my Samsung Intrepid out. You cannot download or install APPs directly to the SD card until the size of your total downloaded APPs exceeds 1GB. You cannot group Apps. You cannot disable the camera shutter sound without muting all sounds on the device.
I have Verizon so I am not sure about other carriers however; I have disabled many of the pre-installed Apps and I find that some continue to pop up and you have to force close them.
Bottom line would I buy another one? The answer is NO.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, apps start without being used by the operator, pricey

This is a great product from Samsung. It has all the bells and whistles and I love the phone. I did have a problem with freezing up but I caused the problem by ending a download too soon. I got on the support chat and the girl was very patient and understanding and helped me with my freeze up problem. I had to factory reset , but it's working great again. Other than that I am still discovering all the new things on this phone. Thank You Samsung
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, good battery life, excellent camera
