Top Notch Android Phone

I've had many Andoird phones in the past few years and the S3 tops them all! Of course, having the most RAM and fastest processor is a big help but just the normal functions of sliding between screens is fast and fluid. I'm amazed at the sensitivity of the touchscreen - very nice. Nothing seems to slow this phone down.
Even though the phone has a lot of plastic, it feels very well made and not "plasticy".
I would recommend this phone over anything out there today. My first Samsung and not my last.

Great Phone

Knew I wanted this phone when it was first announced but purchased it about a month ago as I waited for my upgrade date with my current provider. So far my only complaint with the phone is the location of the power button. I'm used to it being on top, no big deal as I'm getting used to that but I do find that when placing the phone in sleep mode I inadvertently turn the volume up/down. My former smartphone was no fun to browse the internet with as the screen was too small, so I'd avoid it at all costs. Now I'll grab my GSIII to browse the web at home vs. the laptop!

I had an iPhone for about a year and decided to go back to android. I love the screen and features on this phone. the only thing that's missing is a good video chat app, I do miss facetime on my iPhone but overall the SIII is great and I'm glad I switched.

One of the best ways to experience android 4.x

The dual-core version of this phone may seem less-powerful on paper, but in practice, it's plenty fast. As one of the best-selling devices on the market, there is a great support community when it comes to custom ROMs and low-level customizations. It took me a while to get it set up just the way I like it, but now that I do- I'm completely satisfied. Don't forget to put your phone in a cool case- you can even get custom color graphics printed on them. The only con I'd give this phone is that there isn't a hard waterproof case available for it yet. I'd love to be able to watch TV in the tub again.

Purchased this phone a few months ago. Came from an Iphone 4, have been using cell phones since the early 90's. This is probably one of the coolest phones I have ever used! Big gorgeous screen, more web and everything! swipe key board, ice cream sandwich is pretty cool, applications and menu navigating are quick. great look on the outside, haven't had any dropped calls, build quality (it is plastic, but it is pretty sturdy). Call quality is very good from the hearer's end, and good from the listening end (iphone 4 was slightly better). Speaker phone sounds very good, from both ends. This phone has so many features and can do so many things I haven't even explored them all yet. I would say I like it much better than my iphone 4, hands down. Battery life is great!!!

I love everything except the actual phone

I love everything about this phone except it's performance as an actual phone. Phone calls are often plagued by significant interference and background noise. Fortunately, I mostly use text messaging.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: call sound quality is sometimes poor

Great phone for a multitasker

I am a teacher and coach and I do not think there is a better phone available. I can post school work to google drive, check school and home email, and download an app that works as a personal scoreboard for games. It shoots top notch videos of wrestling matches and football games/practices. My kids, both of which have "different smartphones that start with the letter I" ask to use my phone all the time to play games, shoot video, and take pics. I have really big hands and I love the keyboard and swipe texting.
