I did not enjoy this phone as much as I thought I would. I do enjoy samsung product though. I have played around with different samsung phones and thought they were awesome. The Galaxy s III mini however was not what I wanted. I went with this phone because it was cheap at the time, but I wish I would have spent a little more because you get what you pay for. The system seems to be slow. It freezes up and runs slow the majority of the time. My fingers work faster then the phone and the camera quality isnt the best. There are some things I enjoy about the phone though. I love the portability of this phone. Its small, yet durable. I tend to be hard on phones and this phone has really held up. I enjoy the organization availability in the phone. Overall I am not satisfied but someone else might enjoy the phone.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, camera quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hard to think of what is wrong with the Galaxy S3

I searched for my notes & thoughts for the "Cons" are on the Samsung S3 I have been using -- there are None. The Galaxy S3 just keeps on doing whatever you need a smartphone to do -- even now in 2015. I hope they have not changed much on the new Galaxy models.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I have been using Samsung Galaxy products since they hit the market. I've had 3 different Galaxy phones & 3 tablets. My S III is my right hand. I use it for everything from running my schedule to my shppping list. The display is a perfect size & resolution very vivid. I can maneuver thru my screen's with ease. I would use no other. Other products I find difficult to locate what I want & don't perform the way Galaxy S III does. I'd recommend if you want a quality product, Galaxy will not disappoint you.

It's a modern day phone, it does what you want. Power button has failed so it randomly turns on, off, and restarts. Apparently it has been a known issue that Samsung has failed to address even in later models.

This phone has such great feel and look. The colors on the phone are so vibrant!. My daughter has anxiety issues and has difficulty maneuvering around electronics however she had no problem with this phone. WONDERFUL PHONE!

This phone had opened up so many new things for me. I can do do much more than every before. 1st the front facing camera gives me the ability to take amazing pictures wIth my family. The s- beam let's me share them amazingly fast.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

I have really enjoyed this phone. I am very pleased with its ease of operation. The apps that are able to be downloaded is almost endless. More than I would ever use.
The camera functions are very good. However, the resolution could be a little better. I will likely upgrade to either a Note or the S6 in the coming year to get higher resolution in the photos I take. Overall I am very pleased with the phone. Samsung phones are awesome!

An amazing phone that will still be up-to-date for years to come

Feature packed phone with plenty of processing speed and beautiful display. In many ways this is the phone that raised the bar and created a smartphone innovation explosion that forced other manufacturers (without naming any) to compete and contribute and it's we the consumer that is reading the benefits.
This isn't too say that the Galaxy S3 isn't without flaws (such as the cheap feel by comparison to it's main competitors along with a few other minor glitches/flaws). Yet these are more or less easily overlooked once one uses the Galaxy S3 and realized the potential of the entire package.
A phone that is well worth the price and will probably still be able to compete for years to come.
