Loved my phone until...

I have owned many Samsung phones (TVs, appliances etc.) and have been impressed and have recommended their products to everyone that has asked. I've owned my phone for 1 year and 8 months where I bought a nice case, screen protector, has never had water damage or dropped for that matter. I woke up this morning to a random power button issue. I can't turn off my phone or put it to sleep. The button isn't stuck, it just doesn't work. I went on many online forums and this seems to be a very common problem. I called Samsung support, no help besides telling me to take it to BestBuy for repair. My phone contract is up next month in April and was completely on board with buying the new S5 until now. I'll explore other options.
Overall it's been a great phone, just wish Samsung had quality standards and would initiate a recall/warranty extension for such a common issue.
I really like this phone because it links all the different social media sites to my contacts. It is much easier to get in touch with someone because I most likely have their phone number or email just by being connect via social media. The phone has a ton of features which I really enjoy.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Too big
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had this phone for almost 2 years now, bought it from costco on black friday for $30, and it's been running like a champ. I've seen the new s4 and s5, but to be honest, there's not much that they do that my s3 can't already do.
The only issue that I've had with my phone is the battery life. A few weeks ago, it stopped charging well. I've tried using other chargers in other locations and had the same problem, so I bought an off-brand one on Amazon, and now it works great again. Also, some of the features where the phone turns the device depending on the orientation on your head do not work very well, if at all in my experience, but don't buy the phone for these gimmicks, buy it because it calls, texts, and surfs excellently, as well as plays music quite well!
I use this phone extensively and have no complaints. It just works! I will probably upgrade at some point in the future to another Samsung phone, but for now...it just works! Which is the best you can say for a phone.
Pros: Bright display

Galaxy S3 - Great Phone!

This has been a great phone overall. My only issue is that the signal is sometimes weak inside of buildings, where other phones have better signal in the same place. Other than that, I have been very happy with the S3, and will most likely upgrade to the S5 if I ever have to upgrade from this phone.
I've tried a bunch of different phones and this is the best one I've had so far. Easy to use, great voice quality, and unique features. There really isn't anything the S3 can't do. It has me geared up for the S5 for sure!
I absolutely love that I can set recurring alarm clocks and set them by GPS location so that when I leave town on vacation I don't have to worry about remembering to turn them back on when I get back. I also love that when I activated the phone I did nothing to get my apps to transfer from my old smartphone they just downloaded from my Google Play account. It was the easiest phone transfer ever! Now to sync it up to my Galaxy Tab.
This has to be one of the best cell phones I have owned. It is very rugged. [It has been dropped on tile floors several times without damage.] It has outstanding sound and picture quality and the features are excellent.
