Not too many choices when it comes to range hoods, but this one was well within my budget and is a really nice unit. Just what i needed and nothing more. Installer was very impressed.

Keeps the smoke out

I try not to burn what I'm cooking, but when the kids get their grilled cheese on there is often smoke. Once the fan goes on it is quickly sent out of the kitchen. The light does tend to make it hot to the touch but otherwise a great product.
