this is the first android phone that can compete with the iphone and is better than the iphone.i have yet to meet anyone who owns the phone and does not like it. this phone has exceeded all exceptions and continues to impress. there is not one thing that i would change about the function or design of this phone
The Galaxy SIII is a very solid phone that is loaded with great features. The User Interface skin, which I am not usually fond of for any phone, actually did a lot to improve the feel of the phone and gave me access to features that I really needed. The features that I really enjoyed were the quick access bar in the notifications shade which allowed me to turn on and off services very quickly. This made the phone a lot easier to use. I also enjoyed the option to have the battery indicator display a percentage along with the battery icon as most android phones are not able to do so. The screen size and quality was also a great feature. Videos played extremely clear and felt as if you were watching things happen live through a small window as opposed to looking at a screen. The Phone was also very smooth when moving from screen to screen and opening applications.
While the phone was truly packed with features, the one area in which it was clearly lacking is in the build quality. While the phone wasn't bad to look at, it felt a bit cheap in my hand compared to many other comparable high end phones on the market from other manufacturers. I would like to have seen a more complete package with no plastic and maybe a non removable battery cover. Another issue that I had with the phone is bugs that would arise after an update. While the phone still remained usable, features like the alarm clock and email seemed to have bugs after an update which took a while to get fix with a subsequent update. Another feature that I am not fond of is the Samsung Keyboard. At first, the keyboard was overly responsive and would auto-correct words that were already correct to other words. This drove me crazy as I was constantly having to go back and retype the correct words multiple times to get the keyboard to stop changing it. After an update, the Keyboard become non intuitive and wouldn't auto correct at all. This slowed down my typing speed as I would have make sure that every word was spelled right as the auto correct would not catch it.
All in all, I think that the Galaxy SIII is a great phone and truly highlights what Android phones can do. I believe that the Galaxy SIII would work perfectly for both minimum users and power users as well.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

The programs, apps, and services on the Samsung S3 is fantastic and I can't wait to get the S4!
Overall great quality smart phone. Very fast and responsive. Only con is that the screen is a bit dim in bright sunlight.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight

i have had this phone for about 6 months now, and i am still discovering new things about it. android is kicking apple's butt with this phone. i cant wait for the s4. The only downside of this phone is the weaker plastic build, but if you have this phone, you should cherish it, and take care of it.
