The device is aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately, fear of it getting damaged requires covering up all that beauty with an armadillo-of-a-case. As a result of that protective outer shell, access to the outer edges of the phone is impeded. Miscues navigating through the apps, etc., as well as oft-occurring typos while composing texts and emails are the result. The speed can be quite impressive; however, the highest grades (4G) of access (non-WiFi) are also one of the touted features and functionalities of the phone that are more unavailable than available. Lastly, the sound quality and volume is on par (or worse) with the first Galaxy S phone, which I thoroughly enjoyed and kind of miss.
Pros: Inexpensive

fits comfortably into my hand and pocket, can do anything a tablet can. I love the free apps and the free videos and mp3s i can easily download and play back on android. I enjoy the customization and complete control over ICS.

This is my first Android powered phone and I have to say I made a very good choice. I spent some time researching this phone and in the end decided to just go for it and I'm very happy with my choice

Samsung just gets better and better. I started out with the Galaxy S Fascinate and now have the GS III. I really do love this phone. It has been a conversation piece for all who have seen it. I have had friends to get one after checking mine out. I recommend it to anyone.

Just bought this one for my husband since I bought the blue one for myself. We both had the galaxy s2 epic, and I knew the transition would be easier for him to stick with a Samsung product he was already familiar with. THIS PHONE IS AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!
Love the storage size, the processor speed is incredible, very smooth, tons of apps. I am hooked on Samsung, We own 2 tablets, 2 smart phones and a smart TV.
