Too buggy

Not what I expected from android. Purchased S3 b/c I wanted larger screen size. Didn't realize all of the bugs or lack of features with it, some of which are listed below.
1. cannot take pictures while talking on the phone. 2. cannot move icons onto each other and have them automatically slide over ala iPhone. Have to manually drag icons out of the way on the same screen. 3. battery life is not as advertised. I am not a heavy user - mostly email, text and some phone usage. No video viewing. Can't get a full day. Have to recharge every night. 4. display brightness is inconsistent. Goes dark on even though I'm actively viewing screen (yes, I have turned on that feature in settings). 5. google music player less intuitive than iTunes. What's more, whenever I end a call on my bluetooth headset, it starts playing music even though I was not listening to any music (nor was google play active) prior to call. Have tried turning this feature off, but it's not possible. 6. screen has a poltergeist - active screen closes (not screen saver due to inactivity) or moves to different screen without my touching it. 7. mail sync application for yahoo doesn't include folders and when you drag items from inbox into yahoo folder on computer or other device they appear as a duplicate in inbox on S3. If deleted on S3, then deleted from folder. So you end up with lots of duplicates in your S3 inbox.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, great camera
Cons: Poor quality, Too big, Did not meet expectations, buggy, poor battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

iPhone users, don't hate. Galaxy S3 is light years ahead of you. apps are great, features, are awesome, so easy to learn. beam, nfc, all great features.
This is a great phone. I really enjoy this phone. Does everything I needed it to do for me. There were some issues but I found work arounds that I could live with.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight

I absolutely love Samsung products. And the III is just another make of perfection. The phone is wonderful and I cannot wait to see their new product!!!
My previous phone was an IPhone. This Samsung is a nightmare! Taking selfies isiimpossible. Unless you have three hands. I truly cannot wait to trade it in.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, taking a group pie

I am a master electrician . I use this device so much that I would be lost without it. It's a great thing to have this much power in the palm of your hand . Thanks
