Awesome Phone

I love using this phone, it's simple, light and fun to use. The only thing I dislike about it is the new TouchWiz interface, I'm not liking that nature sound to it.
As a power user I see things that others miss and run into glitches. Few things to improve: phone gets a bit hot where the processor is, get away from the thin plastic, as for software it is some times slow (assuming a memory leak), the keyboard some times does not function properly and lastly the tap to top gesture needs to be implemented in more places (have only found one place that it works). Other than the few errors I love the phone and Samsung, they always do a great job!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I ♥♡♥ this phone. Everything about it is great. Can't wait until the Galaxy Note 2 drops! Great job AGAIN Samsung! ツ ♚♔♚ of Smartphones!
Yes i got this phone and love it when i first use it I originally had the first galaxy phone which last forever only thing that broke was the charger port still a good phone got ran over by a car and still survive with no case on it but unlike this phone one drop on the side or the screen it cracks easy of course i was devastated and want to punch a wall but instead call the people i bought it from and they told me there was nothing they can do so i never buying a phone from them again now am going to trying to see if i can get a replacement by my cellphone carrier.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This phone is absolutely beautiful in design, The screen is AMAZING in size, color and responsiveness. The graphics are a serious wow factor on it. And I have been drooling over it for a couple of months. Loved it's capability and features that was hyped up on the commercials. Wanted it badly. Finally got it. Well, it does fall short on a few things. It is not as super easy to navigate as the Fascinate was. The Fascinate in just a couple of clicks I was doing things with it that my daughters new razor was able to do. So to me when I upgrade I should get easier functions not less. With the S3 and all of it's glorious (and I do not mean that sarcastically) capabilities it seems to have forgotten some of the functionality of the earlier phones that you and I take for-granted. Ie - when you are texting someone on the Fascinate and decide to call them it is one click. with this one you have to go through about 3. Not a big deal but you would think that with an upgrade this would not fall off the radar. And there are others like this one that I could spend a few minutes to type out but you get the idea. This phone is a super gadgety phone with high resolution and great functions but it forgets that not all of us are software engineers. I truly believe that this is so new and just released that some of the bugs have not been worked out yet. So if you are like me and love the looks and functions of this phone please go ahead and get it. I LOVE IT. But if you are not so tech savvy and want it... you might want to wait just a bit, until the bugs and tics are worked through. If you are not tech savvy and just need a simple phone I still am a HUGE Samsung fan as they continue to work with a lot of open source groups to find the best of the best at the best price. Samsung seems to really dive in and find out what YOU and I want and give it to us at a great price, so again look for a Samsung product that will fit your specific needs, I know they will have something that will make you a fan too.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, best product for the price, uses open source software, beautiful design, more bang for your buck, speed, samsung
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not super user friendly, simple functions not there, user manual online only
I would recommend this to a friend!

the Product has great features

I like the product. Looks great and the idea of all the things it can do is awesome. Although, the reason for my rating is because my first S3 never worked properly out of the box. I'm on my second S3, this one seems to work better but I still have connectivity issues. It fails to connect to the vzn network, backup assistant plus doesnt work, can be very slow, I can go on. Samsung, fix these issues. The product deserves to be a 5 star, unfortunately, it is not.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, great display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, slow
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As a previous owner of the Samsuna Fascinate, I was a confirmed Samsung product consumer. When I purchased the Galaxy SIII, I became very disappointed. Something as simple as the backlight not being able to maintain a is very frustrating to me, especially considering the advanced technology of the device. The change in the speak to text screen and function is much less user friendly - having to change screens for symbols that were previously on the same screen. I utilize this device on a very basic level compared to it's capabilities and I don't claim to be the most advancd technologically skilled consumer, however, the fascinate was a much more user friendly and better device than the Galaxy SIII. I would definitely trade it in on a different device if it didn't cost me so much.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Durable
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations, not user friendly, added steps for simple functions
