Junk Glass In Screen

My SIII landed screen up in a 3 foot fall into the grass. Shattered the screen. NO MORE Samsung for me. Will not recommend the brand to ANYONE. This is my 1st Samsung Smart Phone of MANY. I dropped them all just like you. This is my 1st screen glass issue EVER!
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, glass screen is garbage
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

"....having been a BlackBerry user for many years, I was deathly afraid that I would go into withdrawal if I ever chose anything but a BB device; however, when my eyes hit upon the Samsung Galaxy S III, I was smitten! I quickly processed my upgrade and ran, not walked, to my car to begin playing with my new cell phone. The first thing I noticed was that depsite how many times, I tried to accomplish a few customizations, they would quickly revert back to the default and then upon trying my first ultra-long text message, not even one would process (failure to launch). Lastly, the device was way too hot in my hand and even hotter when it was charging. So, back to the Verizon store I went and I had to jump through hoops to prove to them that these things were happening but when I was able to do so, they promptly acknowledged the issues and gave me a brand new BlackBerry Bold 9930. I am going to try the Galaxy S III in a few months, to see if this was just a fluke or maybe it is a bug that has to be worked out by Samsung and....my reason for planning to try this phone again is because depsite the aforementioned issues, the design, the incredible features, apps and ease of use make me "wanna" try again!"
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, vast number of apps, exciting design, easy to use features
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's only been a month

I really was excited to upgrade to this phone from the fascinate, however, it's only been a month & I'm less than impressed with battery life so far. I usually have to recharge a few times a day. Fully charged yesterday morning, went to beach around 10 am, battery was dead by 6pm. Very disappointed. I want to love this phone but between the poor battery life & the constant screen freezing, I'm having to pull the battery to restart the phone multiple times a week.
Calls go through fine, but I expect more than that from a smartphone of this quality. I apparently don't live in a 4G area even though VZW's coverage map says I do...so I haven't really experienced that awesomeness. I will adjust my rating if a software update comes out soon & fixes the problems I'm having. Other than that, the phone is beautiful; huge gorgeous screen

Most Amazing Phone EVER!! ...but has frozen twice already

Ive only had this phone 3 days and it's frozen twice, forcing me to remove the battery and restart it. If this continues I will be taking it back to Verizon. I was in LOVE with this phone even before it came out. But if I find any more problems with it, I will be forced to go back to my old Galaxy S1... Other than that I am amazed with this phone more and more every day!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, superior technology
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Galaxy S3 is all it claims to be , the only down fall is the life of the battery .

Excellent Phone with few issues

Never used Samsung phones in the past so this is a new experience for me and so far the experience has been good.
The phone has been excellent and the only real cons I have with it are no way to toggle between Touchwiz and pure Android ICS and the Wireless signal seems week compared to other phones that I have owned.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: touchwiz, wireless reception
I would recommend this to a friend!
