Two screen issues in less than 2 months

Right now I can't say that I would recommend a Samsung to anyone. I have experienced my second touch screen issue in less than two months. Both times I've had to send the phone in to Samsung and re-activate an old phone in the interim that doesn't work very well because it's so old and leaves me pretty much smartphone-less. Customer service is very nice and they are doing everything they can but the product is bad. I won't be buying a Samsung again at this point.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does just about everything!

What can I say, this phone pretty much does everything a laptop/desktop would do. Infact, I not only have 3 of them, but I have also recommended the Samsung Galaxy s3 to my brother. My brother had been looking at getting the iphone for almost a year and convinced him to get him and his family this phone. He eventually made the decision to do just that and now he also has 3 of these phones! I have never been more satisfied. I will say, the down side I that we had a couple mechanical issues in the first year, however, we were lucky enough that our carrier had no problems switching out the phones for refurbished ones. Knock on wood, we haven't had any problems since.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, mini laptop
Cons: could be a little faster when multitasking, heats up when used heavily
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice design with a good touch screen. The battery life is good, I can make it through the day without having to charge it in between. It's also very light and has decent speakers.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight, battery life

I fell in love with my Samsung S3 immedietly. I have now upgraded to new Samsung S5 and am amazed at the features it offers! Thank you for making such a fun, amazing product!

Out of all the phones we've had Samsung is the best. Started out with 2 galaxy 3's and just got 2galaxy 5's and a 3note. Will get another galaxy 5 next month. Itsthe only phone ill buy from now on. Keep up the good work.

Ok phone with smartphone features

I like the smartphone portion of the phone. As long as you don't multitask much, many apps run with decent speed. The battery dies quickly with constant use. The screen is most often the battery hog. The phone is clear but you cannot answer it at times. The slowness and lag of the phone causes this. The conference call feature also does not work consistently, it hangs up on everyone at times. The biggest problem I have is the camera failed message that the camera gives off at the most inconvenient times. Only a reboot will help that.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: speed lag, camera error, battery hog
