[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a leased semi-tractor truck driver, and purchased my first attache 3 years ago. I really like the adequate pockets to carry all of my paperwork & supplies -- most of all the smooth surface on the exterior, which allows me to place, complete, & scan my daily work forms. The only problem I had was the handle becoming shredded, but I just used electrical tape to hold it together.

I am a volunteer for StreetCats, Inc. an all volunteer non profit cat rescue and I "wear a lot of hats" and need to have a briefcase for everything I carry. My previous Samsonite case lock broke when some cats knocked it off a file cabinet so I was very thankful to find that the same type was still available. This one is nicer than what I had but from front to back it is just a tiny bit too small to get file folders in and I need to carry them sideways vs up and down in the main bottom compartment.
Pros: Attractive, Lightweight, Well Built / Quality, Well Organized Inside
Cons: Inadequate Capacity, Width From Front To Back

Lock Got Stuck First Use

I am not happy with this product. Within the first time I used it, the lock got stuck because it was not installed straight, and I had very important documents inside. I had to attempt to pick the lock in order to retrieve the documents I needed.
Pros: Adequate Capacity, Attractive
Cons: Flimsy Construction, Lock Broke Within 1st Use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Direct Replacement of 20 year old Briefcase

I have concerns that the hinges will fail prematurely. Not built as sturdy as the case (same model) that it is replacing. Hoping to get 5 years of use from it. the way the hinges creak when it opens a year may be tough to get.
