I bought this for my husband as a gift to replace his last one. He likes the unit, but the right latch broke (makes for half the effort to access stuff, the covering has peeled off, and no-one in Australia even wants to stock it anymore as they are such poor quality. The first one of these lasted for years. The last two have both been shonky as can be. Thought I'd buy another and just be prepared for it to last a short while, but can't even get them here now. :(
Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Identify, Stylish
Cons: Locks break, No-one even wants to stock them in Australia now, Poor Quality, Tears Easily, Weak Seams, cover comes off

Neither of the latches line up correctly and it is difficult to close. I will be calling to have it replaced. Where were the Quality control inspectors when this came off the assembly line?

Sturdy and dependable

This item was shipped in a tight box and neatly packaged. I am impressed it came so soon. However, this was a gift and it was obvious it was Samsonite right on the box. It was good I found it before my husband. My husband was worried his items would jumble all over when shut, but with the items neatly in the briefcase they hold in the perfect spot. My husband is a tow truck driver and needs to bring many essentials, pens, invoices, flashlight, etc and this briefcase has done the trick. Needless to say, not one scratch on it yet, and in the towing business they can be rough with items. Great item! I would recommend to anyone.

Great briefcase

I looked at a lot of cases on line and this was the only one that had all the qualities I was looking for. I wanted a nice leather case, but I also wanted one with a nice interior layout. This is the only case I found that had an internal layout that I liked. I have been quite pleased with how the case has functioned for me.
