While the printer works fine I found the replacement ink cartridge outrageously expensive, both online from you and in local stores. What a rip off! It costs almost half of what the printer itself costs! Also, I began getting messages on the printer months ago that the ink was about to run out and I've continued to use it and it is still printing normally. So, you are inducing panic buying and crying Wolf.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second purchase of this extended life toner cartridge. The first did last longer than the original toner cartridge but not as long as expected. Shipping took longer than expected but it did come a day early as opposed to the first one which was a day late.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love instant ink, it comes exactly when we need it and we save a ton of money. This ink is great and will last for quite some time. I highly recommend this ink with our HP Printer.
I bought this as a backup to the toner that was supplied with my new HP LaserJet Pro M203dw as is my practice whenever I buy a new printer - always want the most high yield toner on had when the original toner needs to be replaced.
The Performance Rating below is based on HP's reputation as it is still in the original box.
After struggling with a 12 year old 'monster' sized Brother 'All-in-One' color laser printer that was so big and heavy i need to buy a small beefy table to put it on, i was ready to get something a little more practical and lower-cost to use. The Brother printer did decent printing for maybe the first 5 or 6 years but slowly started to deteriorate until finally, with yellow, blue and magenta bleeding on all sides of copies i would make, i knew it was time to upgrade. The cost of replacing those 4 cartridges was also a major factor as to replace them all at the same time, using the high-yield cartridges i always bought to save a few bucks, cost about $500. Enough about the old..... (and carrying this down to the curb for the recycle truck was no fun, either!) So the new HP M227fdw printer i bought is much smaller, is only b&w which is all i ever use and fits on my desktop... Prints beautifully and the high-yield HP 30X cartridge i just bought is as easy to install as any printer I've ever owned. As this is only about a month old, time will tell if it delivers the results i expect but everyone i ever asked an opinion about regarding printers always say -- immediately, i might add-- "Get HP!"
So ok..... i did! (4 stars now until it proves it deserves all that praise)
