Amazing monitor!

I just switched from a 1080p 24-inch monitor and use my new Samsung UE590 28-inch monitor for gaming and streaming videos with my Xbox One S. The quality of the picture is amazing and extremely crisp and clear to the point where you can see the pores on someone's face in a tv show or single blades of grass in a game like Battlefield 1. There are tons of features packed into this monitor allowing the user to customize the settings in a way that suits their viewing habits best. The only issue I have found is that this monitor does not support HDR10 so you cannot truly get the full 4k HDR experience but the difference of having HDR10 is so minute and the quality of the picture is so nice that it doesn't really affect the user experience at all. The 28-inch option is definitely worth choosing over the 24-inch version as the extra 4 inches really give you a more in-depth experience when gaming or watching tv as it is noticeably larger than its 24-inch counterpart and allows you to see more of the details in the picture clearly. The monitor even has an audio out jack so you can plug in a sound system which is great for when you want to switch to Netflix after gaming and no longer want to wear a headset. If you are looking at this monitor for regular computing purposes it is also a great computer monitor due to the fact that it includes many customizable settings such as Picture In Picture mode or Picture By Picture mode which is great for someone who does stock trading, for example, and must have various computer windows open at the same time. All in all, this monitor is jam-packed with great features and is amazing and for the price. You won't find another 4k monitor for this price that even comes close to rivaling the UE590 whether it be the technical specifications or the user experience.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, great for gaming, built-in audio out jack
Cons: does not support hdr10

I have had this monitor since Dec 2015 I have AMD video cards runs like a champ Vulcan WOW.
With new games in the horizon this will keep up nicely.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Inexpensive

Great 4k monitor. Love the "screen real estate" or amount of desktop space so much that I bought a second. Runs fine, great partner to my 1080ti, and overall wonderful.

I bought this monitor a week ago and I am very happy with it. The picture is very bright and clear. The stand makes my desk feel clean and organized. Also the stand swivels so I can view the screen at a good angle. Also the AMD Freesync tech is awesome should make any game look better. It has a very fast response time. Really this screen has it all. Check out my video to see how it comes and looks. Basically you wont need another screen until 8K becomes main stream.

Incredible Performance at Incredible Price

For most people, purchasing a monitor is a long-term investment. When I bought this monitor, I was hoping to take advantage of 4K today, knowing that gaming performance would really shine several years down the line.
At first, I was very worried about what a TN panel might mean for image quality, however all my fears have been set aside from the moment I started using this screen. 4K video on online is amazing. Gaming is amazing. All images in motion are crystal clear. Color reproduction is excellent and viewing angles are surprisingly good.
I'm using this on Windows 10 with an AMD Fury X (FreeSync was an important feature for me). Interestingly, at 60 Hz, you get full 10-bit color for the display adapter and the screen. It looks like there is a small overdrive setting at up to 64 Hz, but if you do that, you are back to 8-bit mode. Personally, I'd rather keep 60 Hz and take advantage of the better colors. Windows 10 scaling detects the panel nicely and automatically suggests reasonable scaling options. Further refinement can be made beyond that fairly easily.
When you set this up, one of the first things you'll want to do is change contrast from default to "standard", which will reduce the brightness and improve the image quality significantly. I found the dynamic mode a bit too jarring on certain types of content.
Bottom line: One heck of a way to step into the UHD world.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display
