Died after 5 years of use while we were away. Lost a small fortune in meat!

Great little freezer for two

Haier 7ft freezer chest

This freezer didn’t even last 2 years. Has been plugged in since we got it. One day I opened it up and everything in it had defrosted. Thankfully I didn’t have a lot in it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broke within 6 years

I bought this freezer 6 years back, and it’s broke now. It is not clear if the compressor is bad or start relay is bad. There is no information on replacement parts like start relay or thermostat. There is no option to get it repaired as well. I would expect company like Haier or GE will make quality products and stand behind them to provide excellent customer service.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We do not recommend attempting a do-it-yourself repair on something that's not listed in your Use and Care or Installation manual. In this case, we'd recommend reaching out to Haier Service for further help.

Put your money elsewhere!!!

Less than two years on and won't work.Cannot obtain parts for repair.Please don't tell me you will pass on to your other departments to improve your product.The only thing you could do since the repair parts aren't available is send me a new freezer.Will never buy GE again.Buyer Beware.

Freezer done it's job like it was supposed to, until it didn't, no warning, no signal, just thawed meat.2 to 3 year.
