Lots of room for the size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the largest capacity bottom freezer that will fit in a 30" space. Love the space and drawers. Also like that the door will hold large heavy items. I wish the door shelves were adjustable. Stays nice and cold and the ice maker works great.

Great spacious fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge last month and am very happy with the choice I made.Only downside is that it has no filter which is not a big deal as you can fit an in line one on the water supply.

Just wish it came with a half shelf for taller items inside. The kind that slide back in, not split in middle.

Good Fridge But a Couple of Big Downsides

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge because of its brand reputation, simplicity, and price value. I've had it for three months now, and it's a solid fridge with plenty of interior space. I like that it doesn't have all those fancy feature that have the potential to break down one day. However, it has some major drawbacks. The fruit and vegetable bins are too small. Instead of two large bins side by side, there are three -- two medium bins separated by a narrow one in the center. Because of this, it is impossible to fit long vegetables in the drawers, like carrots and celery, unless I cut them down to size. Also, this fridge makes loud, annoying knocking noises periodically. It sounds like there is something dropping inside. I do not have the icemaker connected, so it's definitely not that. If I lived in a studio apartment, this noise would probably keep me up at night. I've read other people complain about the noise, but LG seems to deny that this is a problem.

Love being able to see what is in fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Changing from a side by side refrigerator, we are particularly thrilled with the width of shelves in this model. We opted for a counter depth model which we thought might compromise storage area, but are finding it has plenty of space for our needs. We love the brightness of the lights making it easy to find what we're looking for. Also pleased with the ice maker in the freezer compartment vs. in the door. It seems to keep a good, low, consistent temperature even when we need to be opening the door a lot. The black stainless steel exterior blends in beautifully with our other black glass appliances.
