Suddenly stopped working after 26 mos.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size was what fit into our home. The handle has always been wobbly, and over time, different plastics at the bottom of the fridge broke when things might have fallen off, which was disappointing. We liked how much the freezer held, for sure. The stainless steel definitely needs a lot of wiping down. This suddenly stopped working and we now will have to buy a new one.

Highlight of recent remodel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this in December 2016 for my complete kitchen remodel. I absolutely love it and so do my family and friends. It's the highlight of my beautiful new kitchen as shown in my photo. I needed one that was counter depth and of a certain height to fit in the space. Wanted blk stainless steel, french doors, and interior icemaker (no water filter, unfortunately). LG had the product I needed. Keeps all my food fresh and with the bright interior lighting, no more looking for food in the back. I LOVE THIS FRIDGE ( just put a water filtration system and I'd want to give it 6 stars )!
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use

Great overall but limited tall-item storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a french-door, counter-depth refrig. without front water dispenser to replace a defunct side/by/side. We like this LG's beauty, very quiet operation (esp. compared to our 18 yr. old frig.), even temp. control, and lighting. However, we find that there is limited tall item storage and the veg. drawers are way too shallow for more than a small head of lettuce, bags of fruit, celery, etc. Clearly DEEPER veg/fruit bins on ONE side and two shallower meat/cheese drawers on the other would be a better layout--then you wouldn't have to open BOTH doors to get at a bin of either type, and lose less cold air in the process. Perhaps the French door design, which is good for WIDE items (foods in oblong baking dishes), influenced the current layout. However, milk in half/gals., in our opinion, should NOT be on doors where temps. vary much more due to frequent opening&less cooling thus promoting spoilage. (The designers intend these milk cartons to go on doors, which means shorter shelf-life.) The only solution is to push in the 'half-shelf' and stand them on the shelf below, which blocks the space behind the cartons, or lie them on their sides. We are familiar with a big chest freezer, so we are ok with the bottom freezer, though it requires more thoughtful planning on WHERE you put things (be mindful of your organization in the freezer section). We are learning how to better use the refrig. space.
Pros: Performance, Quality

Perfect size, so far, so good!

Having had this refrigerator for two weeks, I can say that the counter-depth size is perfect for me, and the freezer compartment is spacious. My primary concern is that the refrigerator temperature seems to vary significantly: if set at 36 degrees, the temperature ranges between 36 and 41 degrees, a spread that seems inordinately wide to me, especially at the upper end. Of secondary importance is that the options for adjusting door shelves are very limited, and, in order to put gallon milk containers in the door shelf and then get it out without acrobatics, the shelf above it had to be taken out and stored.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great price on this refrigerator, like the bottom freezer. works well

Perfect for the space and features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about a month ago and are very happy with it. We had older home and fitting the space offered some challenges with the freezer on the bottom and this worked perfectly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like the way the shelves and drawers are designed to accommodate items to be seen easily and love the bright LED lighting in both top area and bottom freezer. Lots of space in a counter-depth 20 ft. cu ft size. Also-energy efficiency qualified for my city rebate.
