Lasted less than 4 years!

Like other reviewers noted, this fridge had a very short lifespan. Unfortunately, it quit while I was out of town and you can guess what I had to deal with when I returned—rotten food in the freezer, flies and maggots, not to mention the horrible smell! No amount of cleaning can remedy this and the fridge is dead. I tried different outlets, resetting the circuit breaker, nothing. Dead in less than 4 years. Shame on LG for these fridges. It was the only one that fit in the space I have so now I’m on the hunt again. Don’t buy!

Black Stainless Steel appliances

We bought all LG Black Stainless steel appliances 4 years ago. We used the correct "shimmy" rag and only used water on all the appliances. Every piece, the black stainless steel is peeling off. I have no complaints about the appliances themselves, they are all working great. They just look like crap. I wish there was a way to fix them. Appliances are good, just don't buy black stainless steel.

When we had a small problem with our Freezer Drawer, customer service talked us through how to correct the problem ourselves. We have not had any other problems. It is HUGE and holds a lot of food. We couldn't be happier with our LG refrigerator and their customer service!

The refrg/freeze work well since we bought it almost 4.5 years ago. Recently, the unit went out. LG technician came out and replaces the compressor and clean the system out last week. Technician was very knowledgeable and efficient. Thank you
