This grill is Awesome!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received this grill a few days ago and could not wait to see how well it could grill a steak. After cleaning the grate, I easily connected the propane tank, and started heating ‘er up. The grill definitely got hot enough and passed the hand test as I could not hold my hand over the grill more than 2 seconds. I placed my 1” thick ribeye on, closed the lid, and grilled for 4 min each side and walla, the steak came out perfect! I look forward to using this grill often. As a matter of fact, I think it may be my dedicated grill for steaks going forward. I have a full size 5 burner grill made by a different company that just doesn’t get hot enough for searing and locking in the juices for steaks. I have always stated that if a grill can cook a good steak, it can cook anything!
As for the construction of the grill; it is built solid. It folds up very nice and also clamps the lid closed for transporting purposes. The metal is decent gauge and should last a long time. It is not the thin sheet metal that is used for the low budget grills. The knobs are also high quality and the temperature gauge is conveniently located in the front with a large dial display. The cooking area is a good size. You could easily get a 10 to 12 burgers or a whole chicken going with no prob. The grate is also heavy duty and can easily be removed for cleaning as well as the convenient drip tray that can be easily removed for cleaning.

Not too small, but not to big

Cooks indirectly when one burner is off

There was also minor damage caused to the paint on the lid exterior surface as well as the interior wall. Both dings where located near each other so I think something happened in shipping.
Sits kind of low to the ground, but is light enough to be placed on any higher surface such as a truck tail gate or table top.

Just what we needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed a portable grill that was great to use at home and one we could also take with us to use while we are traveling in our motor home. This fit the bill perfectly.
The grilling surface is big enough for four big steaks or a half dozen burgers. The cast iron grate heats up nicely for nice grill marks on the meat and has a shield to cover the burners to avoid excessive flare ups.
A nice feature is that the legs fold up to the sides and have a spring loaded catch to secure the lid in place for easy transport.
Since this grill is made to hook up to a bulk tank, I wish the hose was a little longer, but otherwise, this is the perfect grill for us both at home and on the road.

Great for Tailgating!

I did have some difficulty inserting the cotter pins into the legs, but that is a one time thing.

Great grill for camping

The dual burner allows you to cook two items at once for efficiency. It is very easy to use and clean. Highly recommended!

Perfect for small gatherings and camping

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were searching for a compact grill that we could use at home when we didn't want to break out the big grill and also to take on camping trips with us. It fits the bill perfectly for both of these activities. It is very compact and not too heavy so fits perfectly in the car with the other camping gear. It cooks evenly and the residual heat from one burner is enough to keep the non lit side warm to cook food at different speeds.

Packs a Punch!

Great for those that love to camp or don't have space for a large grill but still want something with the same power. It cooked our meats evenly and to our liking. Great way to own a BBQ grill for a reasonable price!
