First one was damaged, second works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took a while to get a working Bosch, but now that it's in it seems to work well. It's very quiet and easy to use. I wish it dried better.

Very Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this panel ready dishwasher because it is flush with the cabinets. However my knives spot, the rack configuration is odd and does not easily accomodate thicker items like bowls and thicker glass lids. Forget about pots and pans.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed this dishwasher ourselves with a panel purchased from a cabinetry company. It was very straightforward. The dishwasher is almost completely silent, and appears to clean well. The dishes are sometimes rather wet at the end of the cycle, but we don't mind that. The door spring is very strong and almost slams the door shut - it can be tough to remember to pull it all the way open when you just want to slip things in, but I love that I know it shuts firmly! All in all, we love it so far.

Perfection!

Replaced older model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced our older Bosch (15 years old?) when the drain pump failed. This new model is better in some ways and worse in others. It holds more dinner plates and can hold plenty salad and dessert plates as well. If you remove the utensil holder, you can put some pots or serving dishes there. We try to put all untensils in the top utensil rack so as to keep that space available for over-sized pieces. (I like the utensil rack. Wasn't sure I would.) The rub is the cup rack. It just doesn't hold as many items as our old did. Virtually nothing fits below the fold-down rack and not much above it so you have to pick your poison. (We could fit juice glasses below and custard cups above in our old model. With the new one, it is either one or the other.)
It does seem to clean better, the detergent dispenser is better placed, and it is still relatively quiet. I also like the light feature indicating that the dishwasher is running. (We have the custom panel model so you cannot see where it is in the cycle.)
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only one concern. The silverware tray comes Otten on the left hand side the roller comes out of the groove. Otherwise we like the dishwasher. Cleans well.

Dry my dishes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Bosch dishwasher for several months now and so far it has been doing a good job with one exception.
Prior to my purchase, I read several other reviews where folks had complained about the drying capabilities of this washer. I decided to buy it anyway because I live in a very dry climate where complete drying is not so much of an issue. Well, they weren’t kidding. I always choose the “Extra Dry” cycle, and the inside of the washer is still dripping when I open the door. I usually just leave the door open for a while to finish the drying job.
My previous washer was a super quiet Viking model. So I was especially interested in a new machine that was as quiet as the one I was used to. My new Bosch is indeed quiet, but I guess I was expecting to hear nothing whatsoever from all of the claims and customer reviews. Sure, one can hear the water sloshing around a bit, but I guess that’s to be expected. It’s not annoying at all.
The installation instructions expect one to have an electrical outlet in an adjoining cabinet. Consequently, the design gives little to no room for any slack in the various hoses. One is expected to pull any slack into the adjoining cabinet base. If you don’t happen to have an adjoining cabinet with an electrical outlet, this can be a problem, as we are instructed to never use and extension cord. Also, any slack in the water supply hose or drain hose will end up in the adjoining cabinet if not under the sink cabinet. As one who likes to keep things neat and tidy under there, I’m not crazy about that design constraint.
