Fun to Use Once You Figure it Out

I received this watch as a free product to review. This watch looks nice on your arm, and it comes with an extra band in case you need a smaller size. I have a small arm and it took me about two minutes total to change to the smaller band. This watch really tries to be a complete fitness monitor, it tracks sleep, exercise, heart rate, calorie intake, and it even has an alarm you can set to wake you up in the mornings.
The stuff I like about this watch:
I love the alarm and sleep monitor. I wear the watch to bed every night, and even though it looks a little bulky, it is actually quite comfortable to wear. I like tracking how much sleep I am getting, and the gentle buzz on my arm wakes me up without the jarring blare of an alarm clock.
The functions were a little confusing at first, but once I paired the watch with the free Philips HealthSuite App I was able to understand a little better how the watch worked. The App also comes with complete instruction manuals in PDF form so you can reference them anytime.
Once you have the watch on it will automatically monitor your exercise, and it even knew when I was riding my bicycle and tracked the minutes and calories burned. You can also set daily goals in the app for steps and activity, and the watch will give you a little buzz when you reach your goals.
Not really the watch, but the Philips HealthSuite App is great, it will give you the statistics that your watch tracks, and it even supplies little motivational messages and hints to get the most out of the Philips products you have paired with the app.
The rechargeable battery is included, and it holds a charge for several days. It recharges very quickly with the included USB charger.
The stuff I don’t like so much:
It took me several days to figure out every function on the watch. There’s a lot going on here, and I was frustrated many times by having to go back and forth to the App and the instruction manual.
There is a calorie tracking function on the watch, but don’t bother with it, it’s very basic and essentially you put in whether you had a small, medium or large meal. What? You can, however, enter detailed calories and look up foods in the app.
The watch can be paired with the free Philips app, and you can synch and store all your data there, but the watch can’t synch or upload data to social network sites or any other apps. So if you’re a dedicated Facebook poster like me, you are out of luck with this watch. I also use several other fitness apps and it would be nice to be able to share data with them.
The nylon band is easy to wipe clean, but it makes my arm sweat. I have to take off the watch several times a day to air out my arm.
This is the first fitness monitor I have owned, so I came into it without comparisons to other monitors and overall I am happy with the performance. I just wish that the Philips HealthSuite App wasn’t the only choice to view the data from the watch. I would recommend this watch to someone who doesn’t mind using just the Philips HealthSuite App for tracking. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who is unfamiliar with mobile apps, because the only way you can see everything captured by the watch is by downloading and pairing it with the Philips HealthSuite App.

Great Bluetooth Watch

Great Watch, I should mention that I was sent a free sample to review for this. It was easy to use and set up. I had it set up in 5 minutes. It holds its charge well...I can go about 7 days without charging. I love that I have all my information in the app. If you get the scale, thermometer and blood pressure you can monitor all your vitals in ONE app. Nice to have it all together. You can set up more than one profile so its great to use for multiple people. Tracks my steps, heart rate among other things..super fun.
It is a little large of a face..but that is in right now so it looks cool to kind of have a mans watch feel to it.
Pros: easy to use, easy to set up, looks sleek and nice
Cons: more of a mans look to the watch..

A watch I would wear

I received this Philips Health Watch in exchange for a honest product review.
I don’t have a habit of wearing a watch, but THIS is a watch I will wear! I currently have an old fitbit and am so excited to give it up for this watch that seems to do all the things I would want in keeping track of my health associated behavior. I have been using the watch for over 2 weeks and overall I have been very happy and pleased. I had no problem synching the watch to the app on my phone and had little trouble in accessing all the various features on the actual watch. It was easy to toggle between the various sections, heart rate, steps, food, sleep, etc. I also liked the feature of an end of the day assessment and information in where I need to focus or do better. It seems it will be great motivator to help me stay on track. One feature which could use improvement is making it waterproof so I could use it while swimming. Also, it may be a little out of my price range for a health tracking watch.

intuitive

I am a newbie when it comes to fitness watches. This is my first one and while it is set up fairly intuitively, it took me a bit to go through the features and figure them out.
The set up was fairly frustrating. I tried to sync at least a dozen times the night it arrived. I gave up. The directions do tell you to do something differently once it didn't work the first time, but that was also unsuccessful. I finally had to have my husband help me. He is VERY tech savvy and had a hard time with it.
Once it was synced and ready to go, I appreciated the ease of use (symbols) on the easy to read screen. I have a fairly large wrist and it came with a wristband that fit me well. The heartrate piece seemed to work sometime and not others. I also used the pedometer and tried the sleep tracker. I was happy with both of these features and found the sleep tracker to be intriguing. I tried to work with the calorie intake piece but got lost and confused with this feature.
It seems very sturdy, but as a women, I would love to see other color options available besides black. This isn't a watch I would choose to wear every day to work.
This seems like a good fitness watch that takes a little time to work though for beginners.
I was given this watch in exchange for writing a review.
Pros: comes with wristband for larger wrists

Way to go!

I bought this after living one year with a Fitbit (which I gave to my daughter)
Now I regret my decision
The app is not as easy to use
Syncing between phone and watch is very manual and takes time every time you do it
Also I noticed many days that the stats on the watch are different than the ones that the app shows!!?? Probably the watch gets confused because I travel a lot and switch between time zones quite frequently?
The Menu interface on the watch itself is so so... You have to do many key presses to find what you want to find
Overall Philips needs to spend some time improving the usability of the watch and app
Pros: trusted brand
Cons: usability of app and watch menus needs a lot of im

Great absolutely incredible

I absolutely LOVE this watch, so much in fact that I put my Raymond Weil away. It is very easy to set up and download the App. I like the aesthetics of it and what I find most incredible is that it still is fully charged and it has been a week now. The only thing I can mention I am not crazy about it the aesthetics of the strap and I find the strap after an entire day of wearing it to be uncomfortable. I would find a new strap and swap it out but that`s just a personal preference. It did come with another strap but my wrist is very small for either one. I would offer leather strap change-outs. That would be my only improvement. Overall incredible performance and very impressive. Also a more visible warning that people should not wear this to shower. I think people may think because it is a smart watch you can shower with it.
Pros: incredibly simple to set up
Cons: none

I found it useful to monitor many aspects of my health and tracking my health history.

I am here to share my experiences with a product that I received complimentary to review. Its a smart watch so to speak only made better with syncing it with your cell phone by downloading an app to specifically track your own progress. The steps at first can be tricky, but once you are set up it is much easier to follow. Sett goas and see your progress to be your own personal best and have information right at your fingertips. Track heart rate, steps and of course a watch and always be able to see your success ws well as where you need to improve.
It Phillips HealthSuite health app. Making staying on track easy and fub and at your fingertips. I wish I was more savvy with technology, but I am learning ws we all should so we can stay ahead of the game, the game of life, which is our health. My favorite feature is the time, I wish it had the weather, but the best is to tell me I burned my 500 calories, yes 10000steps, and yes its 500 calories.

Good design

This watch is lightweight and looks good to! Rubber type material band is comfortable and doesn't pull on my arm hairs. Screen is easy to read and battery life lasts more than a few days. I like how there is an extra slotted band included with the purchase as I'm sure accidents happen. The only thing I would recommend to Philips is the "touch ring" where your choices are made, can be a little ineffective at times. Maybe its my large fingers? I should mention that I was sent a free sample to use for this review.
