Love the side opening

This Bosch swing door oven rocks!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I love to cook and entertain and we wore out our previous double wall oven. We opted for the Bosch because of the swing door option and the sleek look. We have had the oven for a month and love everything about it. The oven heats quickly and evenly, the convention modes are amazing, and the broiler is very powerful. We love that the oven can be used to 550 degrees. We make lots of breads and doughs and love having the option to adjust our proofing tempreature. The control panel is intuitive and allows us to control all aspects of both ovens. My wife loves the swing doors - she can get close to the racks and it is so much easier to put pans in and take them out compared with conventional ovens with the flip down doors. Hands down the favorite appliance we have bought.

Sideswing doors, top notch double ovens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we started dropping for New Orleans, soon as I saw the sideswing Bosch my heart lettered. They are so wonderful and easy to use. I've had them two months and I've loved every minute of it. It's got some great options on it. Our previous haven't pooped out at 22 years old. So I've got a little learning curve.

Best Choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We selected this oven setup in part because I have a bad back. Having the side-open doors makes it easier for me to get heavy items (like the Thanksgiving turkey) in and out without having to lean so far forward which puts strain on the lower back. This was a good choice, but it is now secondary to our heavy use of the many settings offered.

Nice, but doors do not close gently

We are happy with the way our double wall oven works. However, the door latch mechanism is not smooth. It's clunky. The top one is worse than the bottom. Both doors feel as though they need to be adjusted, but the appliance store from which we purchased the ovens does not know if/how to adjust them. At a wall.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great ovens

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these ovens mainly for the side opening feature. As I have grown older it had become more and more difficult to maneuver around a drop-down door to get things in and out of an oven. I have only had these for about five weeks and I keep finding more things to love. The telescoping shelf is great, especially for my heavier pots. The controls are easy to understand and use. I'm still investigating the many cooking modes and am finding them useful. There really is a difference between "bake"and "roast" that I had never had in an oven before. I also like the fact that the lower heating element is below the floor of the oven. It is much easier to wipe up spills. All in all, great ovens.

Like the side opening oven

Although we purchased this oven specifically because of the side opening, we have already had to have the hinges replaced on the oven doors and we are not pleased with the blower on this oven. It blows constantly while operating, and is felt across the room
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
