Smart Choice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the Bosch double oven combination HSLP751UC in late October. We chose this model because we knew we wanted a steam oven but did not have two 240 circuits available. The Bosch double oven is one of the few steam oven combinations that allows both ovens to run concurrently off a single 240 circuit. We are extremely pleased with the purchase. Although we know we will get a lot of use out of the larger convection oven, we have used the steam oven almost exclusively. It heats up quickly and the steam function keeps food really moist. Clean up is easy. If you are considering steam, this oven is a great choice.

Steam cleaning results in service call 3 for 3

We moved into our new home in February 2015 and LOVED this steam oven, until I used the steam clean cycle. After using the steam clean cycle the first time, the display screen would not continue to display what the oven was set to after the door was opened/closed. Usually the oven would remain on, but it no longer indicated it was on. Fortunately when this first happened, I went back into the kitchen late at night; otherwise it would have been on all night. The main control panel was replaced during the first service call. I cleaned it again (about 2 months later) and the same issue reoccurred. That time the repairman indicated they were going to replace all the panels they could replace. After the 2nd repair, the touch screen required firmer pressure to make the selections work. I just cleaned the oven again (third cleaning), and the same issue happened again. I have a call into the retailer and will be scheduling more service calls. The steam cleaning function isn't great, but it is better than just wiping it out. I would expect more from an oven in this price range and am concerned I spent a significant amount of money and will be dealing with long-term issues. It is great for cooking, but it has been a major inconvenience for two working parents and a hazard in the event it appears to be off and is actually on for an extended period, which is why I rated it "Poor". Definitely not what we expected from Bosch. The lower convection oven continues to work great. I inadvertently posted this review on the stand alone steam oven, but this is the model we actually have.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

very nice combo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The conventional oven usually takes longer then recipes call for. It is easy to use. The steam oven works wonderfully well. It's a bit hard\time consuming to clean because after every use I need to pull out my step stool in order to climb up & be able to reach way back to wipe out the moisture. Awkward.

Marvelous unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this steam convection combo unit in March 2017 and decided it was time to review it. I was unfamiliar with steam convection so there was a bit of a learning curve but once you get past that it is truly a delight! The proof setting works incredibly well as do all the other things you can do with it (I've used them all now).
The standard oven is also beautifully constructed with temperatures spot on.
When we first received it the seal for the steam oven was actually askew but Bosch had some out within 24 hours to get that straightened out.
Now I'm going back for an induction cooktop and possibly a new refrigerator and dishwasher. That's how confident I am in their service and products.

Wonderful customer service!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement double oven. The customer service was very helpful in sending a repairman and then replacing the faulty ovens. I love the steam - convection oven very much for cooking veggies and meats. The presets are very helpful as are the booklets that came with the ovens. I use it almost everyday.

Amazing new way to cook!!

I have wanted to move into the steam oven market for a while and finally did. I could not be happier. The oven is slick, sleek and a beautiful addition to any kitchen. The steam / convection combo can pretty much deliver anything with amazing results. Clean up is way easier than you would think - a quick sponge of the bottom and rinse the trays (since the steam doesn’t allow loads of build up or burnt on food) a cinch to wash! Everything that comes out the oven is moist, crispy and full of flavour. I will never regret this purchase!!

I love the roasting feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the steam oven thinking I would steam more food. But what do not like is cleaning the oven water out. That needs to drain away or evaporate.
The oven to roast I love. I think all racks should slide out with less wt. the retractable arms are hard to insert back in. Keep it simple. Make it easier for a women to use.
