Bosch Benchmark Double Wall Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't say enought positive things about this oven. I absolutely love the way the doors open! It makes it so much easier than leaning over a hot oven door. The pizza setting is amazing. No more burnt crust on the bottom! I haven't had a chance to bake anything yet, but everything I have made has turned out great. I can't imagine owning anything else, now!

Fantastic ovens!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These ovens replaced wall ovens with traditional doors that weighed a ton. The side open doors are a dream, the viewing window is HUGE compared to my old ovens, they preheat quickly and I love the telescoping rack!

Love the oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 27" Thermador before this and wanted the extra space in the 30". Have had it for a year now. LOVE the side opening. The oven is very quiet however I don't have a problem hearing when it beeps as some have said. I use the dehydration (100 degree convection ) a lot - very few ovens go below 170.
My only negative feedback thus far is that my probe didn't work -- apparently one shouldn't push it in all the way. Just before that there is a small click. This is NOT documented and should be.

Love My Ovens

Recently had my Bosch Benchmark Double Ovens installed. Love the side swing doors and the versatile cooking options. The only negative I can find is the timer. When the timer goes off I can barely hear it. I have increased the volume to high with little change. Unless I am within five feet of the ovens I cant hear when it goes off. I would hope that for the cost of the ovens I could actually hear the timer. I have resorted to buying a magnetized timer to use with my ovens.

Fraudulent company

Of course, my oven is out of warranty, and I used the self clean for the very first time. Before it finished it shattered the inside of the glass on the door. I will now be paying for this. It seems very fraudulent that a company would install a program in the oven that destroys itself. The consumer has to spend more money on their products. Self sabotaging self clean. Won't buy Bosch again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Oven Until It Breaks

I loved this oven until it broke 4 years after purchasing. It's now an expensive piece of wall decor in my kitchen. I've had it repaired 4 times in the last three months for the same problem (receiving E005 error on screen) by a factory authorized repair company, I've had to host Thanksgiving and now Christmas and New Years without an oven. Bosch is unhelpful, says it's out of manufacturer's warranty and "out of their hands." Their reliability is awful for such an expensive appliance and nor are they wiling to own up to it. I've tried to be patient and understanding trying to get this repaired, but I'm at my wit's end now.. Too much money and time spent taking time off from work to get this repaired, only to still have a non-working oven.
