Love the dooring swinging left

Rebirth of interest in the kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok …. the title may be a little dramatic; but what would you say about a product that renewed your interest in cooking and rewarded you with great results? We selected our Bosch appliances based on reputation, style, and features. After several months of experience we have concluded that Bosch Benchmark are unequivocally the best of all the appliances we have experienced in 40 years of living in various homes, including one major kitchen remodel project. Benchmark has definitely exceeded our expectations! This double oven with side hinged doors is a good looking complement to the Bosch dishwasher we purchased for our recent "kitchen renewal" project. Both appliances were so intuitive and well engineered that we were able to operate the oven and the dishwasher perfectly 'out of the box', without reading any directions … amazing! Even better were the special and innovative features and advice we discovered after finally getting around to reading the manual. As examples, the "pizza" setting and using a stone (and flour from Italy!) produces the best pizza ever due to excellent temperature control up to 550F; the 'convection roast' setting produces vegetables that rival a gourmet bistro. In addition, we were considering a warming drawer, but the oven has a true 'warming' function that serves the need very well. The old recipes taste even better from the Bosch, and after using this oven we have decided that our former oven must have had poor temperature control and distribution, or perhaps was poor quality in spite of the premium brand name ….. it is quite remarkable how temperature control can affect the quality of the finished product. Finally, the side opening doors are an amazing convenience for loading and unloading and we have found that we actually use both ovens because the top unit is much more accessible than our former oven with pull down doors. The rebirth of interest in the kitchen has now extended to experimenting with new recipes and cooking techniques because we have confidence that the Bosch will deliver.
After the eating is done, the Bosch Benchmark dishwasher takes care of the dishes and utensils. This unit fits in the same space as our former dishwasher, but it seems to have a much larger capacity for all types of dishes and utensils. We thought the silverware tray was a silly gimmick, but after using this we would not give it up. We also appreciate the clean design and hidden controls that offer an excellent range of features and options for cleaning 'every day' as well as 'special' dishes. These comments would not be complete without a mention of the laser light shining on the floor to signal that the Bosch Benchmark dishwasher is operating …. the machine is so quiet that the operation light is almost a necessity to confirm that the machine is running.
Thank you Bosch! We are very happy with our new appliances and would recommend them without reservation. Please pass along these comments to the engineers who must labor tirelessly to achieve such a great product.

Nice style and love the side opening doors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just had oven put in and have baked cakes. The temp was off first, but easy programming fix. Cakes came out perfect. It is a solid oven and I do love the features it has. Look forward to many years of baking, roasting etc with it.
