Awesome performance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love the steam oven. Love the way it reheats food and it tastes just like it was just cooked! Love the steam mode and how it keeps foods moist instead of drying out.

Good and not so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It steams well, but I haven't had much luck with the steam/convection combo. For some reason it stops and resets when it's in this mode. Have had a service person check it out, but they say it's ok.

Every Kitchen Should Have One

Using oven daily

I am surprised at how this steam oven is so versatile. Using it for bread baking, steaming vegetables, convection roasting, etc. Right size for everyday use and the quick reference sheets help pick right settings each time. So glad i purchased it. Thanks

Steam oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to purchase Include this item during our recent kitchen remodel. We committed ourselves in trying to cook healthier. This steam oven has made the grade. We have owned this unit over the last 6 month plus and could not be more pleased. If healthier eating is in your future plans, I highly recommend looking at this unit. Food has never tasted better !!

So many issues

We have had this for three years. It’s mostly been a bad purchase.
1) how often are you really going to try and stream stuff? If not often, get a real oven.
2) it’s a bad oven. Cooks the heck out of stuff near the back. And it’s such a small oven relative to the space it occupies.
3) the descale requests are constant - see other reviews - and getting through the descale process is difficult - often requires several tries.
4) it’s impossivle to keep clean. It does have a “clean” setting but whereas your real oven gets like 600 degrees and burns everything until it’s gone, this oven tries to steam all the grime away very unsuccessfully. Be ready to scrub this thing.
5) we’ve had lots of problems. Mostly related to the steam function (which is the whole point of this thing!). the oven vents out steam just above the handle. The moisture then gets inside the control panel and the entire thing freaks out because moisture is inside the buttons. We’ve been through a couple control panels - not cheap.

If I were to do it again, I’d just buy a regular oven and deal with steaming my veggies on the stove.

Special features for our new kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a tough decision, but I am so glad we decided on this steam oven, over a microwave or a speed oven. We subscribe to a CSA and having the steam oven makes it easier for us to steam all the great veggies, keeping their color and nutrients in tact! It also makes perfect soft or hard "boiled' eggs, and comes in handy when you need an extra oven to fit in another tray of cookies, reheat, or keep other dishes warm. Reheating pasta is amazing, it is almost better than when it first came out of the pot! The oven heats up super fast too and it is really cool to turn the light on and see the steam in action! Cleaning/or drying it after steaming is more labor intensive then expected but having all of these features is well worth it.

Healthy way to cook

Healthy way to cook but I have had to have it replaced because the clock did not sync with the oven clock and during servicing the unit was scratched. It went off 6 minutes over a month. Eggs cook perfectly and broccoli was green and not over cooked if the suggested time
was used. Sweet potatoes cook moistly. There is a learning curve.
I wish the door did not open down but
