The power on off does not work, it is damaged the glass. The glass costs almost the same as a new one. I had to buy a new one I was happy with the cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in March 2107 for last three weeks the on off sensor works only when it is inclined to do so. Out of warranty so it would appear I amgoing to have to replace the unit very disappointing. Last Bosch i can justify. There ought to be a recall. JTC sept 23 2019

Could be better at boiling water

Bosch Electric Cooktop

I bought this cooktop a month ago and it is fantastic. It has some wonderful features such as the Autocook, panel lock, kitchen timer, cook timer and count up timer. Also I like the additional cooking feature which allows you to cook based on the size pan you are using. I would highly recommend this cooktop.

Truly amazing cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our new Benchmark cooktop in November 2017. It's been truly amazing. The features on this cooktop, especially the Power Start feature, continues to impress us. It's very easy to clean (no buttons or knobs), heats quickly, and maintains a consistent temperature throughout the cooking process.

My cooktop was delivered 11/11/17. In the past 2 months it has become increasingly difficult to turn the cooktop on. We have resorted to flipping the breaker, waiting 10 minutes and attempting to turn it on. We have resorted to warming our finger in hot water and placing it on the on/off switch. That worked for awhile. Today, nothing seems to work and I am having a dinner party, or not, because I need 2 burners at least on my stove. It is Sat. and I will call and schedule a service call. This sucks.
