Stopped working after less than a year

I bought this dehumidifier for my small bathroom that doesn’t have a fan. After less than a year, it started making a horrible grinding noise whenever I turn it on. For a while, if I flipped the switch a few times it would stop grinding and eventually work. But now it never turns on properly. Would not recommend.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
