I purchase the onkyo tx nr 3030,running 11.2 channel , all my speakers are klipsch ref. 3 ,I purchase the klipsch sw 112 this sub very nice and sound great but appearance wise it did not match my other speaker so I return it for the r112sw,when I hook this sub to my onkyo receiver I was blown away , it was like night and day I have the gain control at half with the low pass at 80hz , phase at 180 , and I have to say that I am very impress with the lows and the profermance of this sub!!! This sub is loud, fast and powerful in both movies and music!!!! This sub is awesome 10/10
Pros: Attractive, Compact, Durable, Easy To Set Up, Energy Efficient, Good Audio

This sub is honestly amazing. I have it paired with two RF-62 II's, an RC-52 II, and two RB-51 II. Movies sounds fantastic on this system. The bottom end sounds perfect thanks to this sub. Music on the other hand sounds even better. I honestly have been spending about 2 hours a day listening to music on this system since I got it (about 6 weeks ago). The subwoofer makes it sound so robust and powerful. Not boomy at all, just very tight and articulate. Pink Floyd destroys on this subwoofer. The little bit of rap I listen to is ridiculous as well. Buy this thing and you won't regret it. You will love it. I honestly want to buy another one when I move into a new place (my AVR allows for dual subs).
Pros: Attractive, Easy To Set Up, Good Audio, Good Power Output
Cons: NONE

Wall shaking bass at 1/2 gain. I think 11 gain would cause structural damage.
Pros: Attractive, Durable, Easy To Set Up, Energy Efficient, Good Audio

Sub crapped out after about 3 years. Now it's an expensive boat anchor. They need to fix the known issue with these atrocious quality plate amplifiers and offer replacement options to those of us out of warranty that have failed.

I was running 2 100w subs, a poll and a pioneer, I replaced the 8" pioneer with this bad boy.. I can feel the floor boards shaking. Theater quality bass for your HT setup, and music really comes alive. My 10" Polk is now a surround sub. The R-112Sw is worth it.

I have installed Klipsch Quintet V speakers with R112SW Subwoofer in my Medium size room. I listen to music a lot and watch movies too. At first, before installing these, I was thinking that I would need Floorstanding speakers as they would be underpowered but trust me, the sound is so amazing that even if I don't add Floorstanding speakers, it sounds complete with really good highs and lows to the extent that I have to turn the bass level and at times, treble level down to make it more natural so that the deep bass is punching my chest and at the same time, not overpowering the total face of the sound. I will just add R14S as my side surround speakers to complete my 7.1 speaker setup. Overall, the Klipsch R112SW is an amazing subwoofer, I equalized it on my Onkyo TDX-RZ710 AVR to see how it sounds with different settings as I love the deep thumping sound rather than boomy sound and boy, do they rock? I played Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Motley Crue and all the latest Pop songs and this Subwoofer doesn't fail to amaze me each time. The movies sound simply amazing with loud Dinosaur roars to gunshots going through my backbone and real, surreal explosions ripping me apart. I couldn't have asked for more but I do wonder, how would the R115SW sound? Will it be an overkill for my room? Just thinking! :D
Pros: Earth Shattering Sound, Good deep thumping, Simply outstanding, even for large Rooms
Cons: Zilch!

Keepers of The BASS

I bought this 3 months ago, it's accompanied by another Klipsch sub, working in tandem, they rock my bed, it's a very moving experience. I can feel my heart beating out of my chest. The best, lowest BASS I've ever experienced. I'm going to get 3 more for my living room now. "MUST HAVE IF YOU ENJOY MOVIES, MUSIC, ETC" KEEPERS OF THE SOUND. KLIPSCH ROCKS!!!!!!
