Not as good as the old one.

New appliances these days just seem to be weak. They want to cater to the green people by being more efficient. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but they seem so weak they don't perform well. I've used this 3 times now and when the normal cycle is complete, my dishes are still wet. It's like the dry time is non-existent. And I don't even see an option or any kind of way to just turn the dry mode on. Not button for that. So yes, my dishes are clean, but when I open the door, everything is not dry. Still water everywhere. For the amount of money I spent on this machine, for crying out loud it ought to dry your dishes when you tell it to dry your dishes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great and easy to move!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We moved to a new house without a dishwasher and received this one as a gift from my parents soon after our move. My mom did a great job researching portable dishwashers and we're really pleased with how well it works. We have had portable dishwashers in the past in a house we rented and they never cleaned that well. This one really does a thorough job and is much easier to move than others I've used even though it's larger. The capacity is great for our family. As a family of four we only have to run it once a day because it holds so much (we hand wash pots and pans). The top doubles as an attractive workspace for us as our counter space is limited. I'd highly recommend this dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The one hour wash cycle does not clean AT ALL. The normal cycle (that takes a couple hours to get through) leaves a thick film on your dishes even with expensive detergents. Neither of the cycles heat up like my previous portable dishwasher. So very very disappointed.

Big disappointment

Owned for a bit over a year and the dish washer does not even empty out! It takes literally 10 tries before it empties out on a good day. I have even bought the cleaning product for it thinking it need to be cleaned out properly and still having issues! waiting for service call. Before the failure, performance is poor. Dishes need heavy duty cycle to get them clean. Dishes never dry and always come out wet or foggy with moisture, even after paying careful attention to using "Jet Dry". This is the second whirlpool appliance I buy and wont be maling that mistake again! Whirlpool...never again!
