I was ecstatic to know that OtterBox created a Commuter case for Pixel (as they did not for the Nexus 5X). I've been a loyal customer for every phone I have owned that there was protection for. You can't beat the price, peace of mind and especially warranty.
My only "gripe" is the effort it takes to slip the outer protective over the inner due to the volume buttons and port covers. Granted I don't remove the device from its "security blanket" often but my clumsy finger dexterity makes the process take a few more minutes than it should.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've always had OtterBoxes for any phone that they have made one for and I've never been disappointed this case is no exception it actually makes the phone feel a little bit heavier and easy to hold. Not that the phone without a case is dirty or heavy by any means but I like how the case makes the phone feel and fit in my pocket and yet I still know my phone is protected and will be in mint condition the whole time I have it in the case.

Not exactly what I wanted, but close enough

One of the things missing with this is choices! I would have preferred a different color other than pink or black.
Functional-wise though, the case does exactly what it's supposed to. Added benefit is the rubberized edges help keep the phone where I set it down. Without the case, the phone tends to slide all over the place.

Pros: My phone is well protected. This case is just the right amount of protection without being too bulky. I also like that I can choose my own screen protector.
Bad: There isn't quite enough of the squishy grippy material on the back and the plastic is so a bit slippy.
Ugly: I choose the pink case, but after one day it was stained- dark jeans, dye rubbed off I guess. I wish that I had chosen the black one. I also wish I could be replacement squishy part like you have for the iphone.

Thanks for your feedback! We are sorry that the Commuter case is a tad too slippery for your comfort level and that it is getting discolored. We certainly weren’t out to cause any perilous predicaments, but rather create a streamlined design with ease-of-use for clothing pockets, etc.
We always suggest cleaning our products using mild soap and water (never with abrasive or corrosive cleaners that may damage the case).

So far it's OK, too early to tell . I can tell you that the defender protection case though is over priced and the case that encapsulates the phone is cheaply designed and and after opening it a few times to clean it the lock enclosure clips will break off.

I bought it for my new Google pixel phone to keep it safe and protected at work. I am very happy with the case. it's not as big and heavy as I was expecting. great case with a good feel in the hand.the only thing is that is extremely hard to find a tempered glass screen shot for it.
