Just switched from an LG g4 after a year of use in one defender case. And the phone itself is still in perfect condition. Now when I knew I had a Google pixel xl coming I ordered the grey and blue case cause not only was it a great color scheme but I knew I could trust the case to last and function as I expect. Love otter box.

This is my second Otter Box Defender, my first with with my 4.5 year old Note II which finally died. This new one installed like the old one, quite easily [but I was familiar with it]. New customers might want to watch the u-tube video. My experience was with the old one, it was dropped numerous times with no damage. About two years in, I scratched the plastic cover over the screen and wanted to buy a new one. After some conversation with the customer service agent, they sent me an entire new Otterbox - no charge!!! Now that is customer service!
Tip: Every quarter or so, I took it apart and cleaned all case pieces and the phone itself, little pieces of dirt seem to find their way in.

I bought this Defender Series. Case because, well, if you have ever used their products before they speak for themselves. I would have given it a five, but the case comes out of the holster too easy. ANY of the defender cases I have bought fits securely in the plastic holster and stays put. This is not as much. Still, as usual, OtterBox is on top of the market with an available case for this new of a phone. Great job!
