I give it 4 stars only because it's appearance is plain. I would have like a design on the case that made it sharper but other then that the case is extremely reliable and I feel confident that if I drop my phone it's safe. I have no worries about my phone at all.

I SAS xibeartened to find there was no Otterbox for th Google Nexus 6. I had to settle. When I found out Otterbox made a case for the Google Pixel XL, I ordered it before the pbo e even arrived. I wish there were more colors and maybe designs on the cases to choose from.

I've always owned an OtterBox Defender, for every phone I've purchased. I recently purchased the Google Pixel XL and could not find a Defender anywhere in Canada so I willing paid the American funds and had one shipped to me straight from OtterBox! Wouldn't own a phone without one!

I have always protected my phones with Otterbox Defender cases. The XL Defender feels protective, well made, and has a nice grip feel in the hand. I have two complaints about the XL Defender. (1) rainbow effect/Newton Rings form on the built in screen protector. Those are the swirly looking oil slicks that you can see on the screen protector. (2) Opt for Black over the Borealis color. The Borealis color, after just a couple hours of use, had black smudges and dirt on it. I had only used it for a couple of hours when I noticed this. Imagine how dirty the Borealis one will look after months, let alone hours of use. Pick Black and don't look back!

Finally feel that my phone is safe. Have always had a defender case on all my phones and they never disappoint. I would like to see more availability to other brand names rather then just apple and samsung on launch day such as the google pixel. I did have to wait 2 weeks before a case was available from their website.
