I bought this case for my new Google Pixel XL and it fits perfect. My only concern is that I just hope that Otterbox fixed the silicone around the phone so it doesn't warp like all previous cases.

Keen to preserve my expensive new phone I decided to invest in the Defender. I wanted a case that would last as long as the 24 month contract I have just signed and I had specific misgivings about my phone's lack of waterproofing.
After my first week with the Otterbox Defender I am very happy with my choice. The case is cleverly designed and well made. It feels tough and secure without looking like a piece of military field equipment.
I'm not sure if I'll ever use the clip/stand thing but I'll keep it handy, just in case.

For every phone I've owned it is wrapped in an OtterBox case. Recently I purchased the plum/coral box for my new Google Pixel XL 2. I also purchased a black box for my old Google Pixel XL which I'm giving to a family member. I had a pink case for it but ordered the black since he isn't into pink, lol! Obviously, I love my OtterBox's! Seems that the OtterBox always outlives my cell phone, so you know it's great! Just a suggestion to OtterBox...it would be fantastic if a screen protector came with every box. I wouldn't mind paying extra for it personally. On a personal note: The Google phone is the only phone to own in my opinion. Between a Google phone and an OtterBox you will have the greatest combination! For me...I only buy OtterBox and have found nothing that even comes close! I hope this helps! Cheers! ;o)
