Due to a job change I found myself carrying my laptop and other necessary (and heavy) items around New York City on a frequent basis and the weight of my old briefcase was killing my back. I'm not a fan of backpacks but I needed a better solution. I sent weeks looking at different products from low budget to the ridiculously expensive. Frankly I couldn't tell the difference. I chose the OGIO Axle for a number of reasons: First I like the overall feel and quality. It has tough zippers, looks well made and it has a lot of flexibility to accommodate not just my walking around the city and the subway, but it's going to be my new carry-on bag. Just as important, the strap system is very comfortable, it's padded and doesn't feel uncomfortable even when the bag is loaded. I've had it about 6 weeks and used it extensively and so far it still looks new. Originally I saw this as a temporary solution and my wife was going to buy me a high-end Tumi for Christmas. I told her not to waste her money because I am so happy with this. Thanks OGIO
Pros: flexible, comfortable strap system, tough but elegant

Excellent backpack

This backpack is awesome. It has a ton of pockets and storage areas. My only gripe is that inside the main area there are some fabric pouches that things get caught up on because they are just open areas. Also the main area is relatively narrow considering how large the entire area is and how much storage. It has the terrific loft pocket where I can easily grab my badge and that’s really all I need in life.
Pros: large, lots of storage comparments
Cons: narrow main compartment

I got this from work as a gift after being hired. I've used it for over two years now and it's still in almost brand new condition despite the fact that I have used it nearly everyday during that time period. It's great as an everyday bag for work and I always take with me on business trips. It keeps my laptop safe and secure and I can carry still carry a tablet, my cell phone, extra cords and connections, my leather portfolio, a book to read while traveling, personal items, and so much more. There are enough pockets that everything has a place which makes it really easy to organize my gear and find it when needed without fumbling through and pulling things out. I highly recommend this bag if you are in an environment where backpacks are acceptable.
I am upgrading to the Renegade and will be handing this one down to my son to use at school. It really is a great bag!
Pros: looks great, easy to organize your gear, carries a good amount of gear
Cons: maybe add a luggage handle pass through

Purchased to replace an aging OGIO received from a vendor. Was very excited for this new backpack and used it immediately on a work trip. Plenty of room for everything including a pocket that fit my headphones. Many pockets for for all your things.

I enjoy the quality of the bag and for a smaller bag from Ogio, there is plenty of room for 2 laptops, multiple cords I use everyday for work, plus university sized text books, and regular things. WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!

This backpack has storage for most anything you would need, incredible protection for all of your electronics. Great for work, airport, anywhere you go. Really like this product.
