Been happy with my layover bag. Good for a mid week business trip, but have some 10+ day trips so needed a larger capacity bag but still wanted all of the layover features. (Multiple handles and pockets and great looks.). So was/am very happy with this terminal bag.
Look at the 7.0 for quick 2-3 day get-a-way bag.

It is really big. I did the measurements for the major US airlines using the inches of each size and it is just over the allowed limit. Haven't dared check it because of this. It would be a good big bag to take on your driving trips. It is very big. It is made extremely well.

Poor quality zippers

Paid for quality and did not get it. The zipper separated and broke in the corner in less than a year with minimal use. Suitcase wasn’t overloaded or anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A great bag that will be better with improvements

This bag served me very well for many years, however it simply isn't big enough for my needs anymore. I love the various pockets and how it keeps me organized on the go. Please consider making a larger size (I don't want a Rig 9800) since I have had to retire this bag and purchase a Dakine to accommodate my needs. Telescoping handle should be on the outside of the bag to make more room inside. When full packed it can wobble from side to side. Again, a great bag that served me well that I wish I could still use. Please just make it bigger.

We have loved this suitcase. We bought a couple of them over 10 years ago and they’ve lasted great. They’re starting to show their wear. We’ve taken them all over the world. We bought this new one, same model, and the quality seems a little inferior and less durable than the previous ones we purchased 10+ years ago. I hope it lasts just as long, but I’m a little worried it won’t. It’s a suitcase with a great use of space. We can fit a lot of things in it.
