[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I bought my house the stove was here and it was also a Hotpoint and very similar in model. It was very well worn - one burner always had to be lit with a match and it was just old.
The new one is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this appliance a month ago. I like the broiler in the oven. I wish that all the burners turn on the igniter when I turn on one burner. I am not used to it. I wish only one burner would turn on the igniter

Wish I hadn't bought this one

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm still not convinced this oven works. It has to fire-up every 2 minutes to try and stay at temp... which I am not convinced that it does. (my 2 in-oven thermometers tell me it cannot hold temp and fluxuates about 25 degrees)
Having a simmer burner on the back burner does not work as you cannot fit a 12' pan back there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Get something better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stove is ok , quality control is in the crapper these days. They put a big sticker right on the top of it so when I removed it the clear coat was missing underneath. Very disappointing and of course I ordered these while I was in the middle of a kitchen remodel and they sat in the boxes for two months till I opened them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I don't like about this stove is the control knobs on the left side of the stove. On ever other stove that I have used the first know is for the front burner. But not on this stove... the first know is for the back burner. Now on the right side of the stove the first knob is correct. It is turning on the front burner. When I called up to ask about this I was told "that's how it is suppose to be"
