Just what I was looking for

Decent basic range

S to be small and easy to pick up with one hand, and these are great. I don't need all the fancy features, and it had to be white. The dealer I purchased from didn't have one on display and their website didn't have much in the way of details. Took the plunge and ordered in a pinch.
Content with everything except placement of different sized burners, which is a big issue. 2 very hot, very large front burners, and only one medium sized, which I think is what most people use the most. Two smaller burners are in back, which means I'm cooking on the back of the stove 80% of the time.
The 2 front burners are too hot even on low for my titanium fry pans, which is a pain. If I want to simmer, I often start on front, then have to move to the back -- constantly juggling pans!
I would give this range 5 stars if it had 2 medium burners, one front, one back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve noticed moisture coming out of the vent when the oven is on for an hour or more. Also haven’t figured out how to set for time bake. The manual isn’t user friendly. I can’t get a burner to simmer. Even on low a pot boils over.

Perfect stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a n Amana stove since 1989 it was, and is my top choice. So when it finally wore out after 33 years I got a new Amana. Everything was fine until my plumber broke the gas valve. Thanks to the Amana service department I received a new one the next day and was installed that day. That’s been over a month ago and everything is going just fine. I love the new electric programs it’s so easy to use. I have 2 photos 1 of my first Amana and my new one.

Very happy with our Amana range!

It's ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave up my old stove to charity and got the Amana. I should have expected it but it was certainly less than what I had. It seems much more "tinny" sounding than my Magic Chef but things are made cheaper now than in 2000. The rings asround the burners stain quivkly and you CANNOT get them clean even with steel wool. I am disappointed for sure and wio probably replace this one much sooner than I did my old one. I had a tech here yesterday and I must admit, the service and the tech were EXCELLENT.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
