Just what we wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did not want a griddle, but wanted the space on top. Burners seem to heat liquid faster than our old stove. All controls operate as designed.

I Love The Amana's Efficiency

The ease of keeping the top clean, the way it always lights, the way the oven door doesn't get hot and the way the oven heats so very fast make me a happy camper that I bought an Amana Gas Range.

Best oven in the World!!!

I have never had this brand before and after Mr.Semach discussed what I would like in an oven, he suggested this one!! This oven takes only 5 min. to preheat...I am so happy!!!

Amana Gas Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this model due to the enclosed burner system and the fact that we could put spoons or things between the sets of burners. Due to Covid it took us 6 months to get the new range. Fortunately our old one was still working, but had some issues so the long wait didn't affect us. I really like the new range. The pre-heating option is really nice along with the bottom drawer that can hold not burnable items. I'm glad we bought it.

Missing features I wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this thru an appliance dealer and was assured that the 2 burners on the left, (front and back) were the same size burner so my double griddle would work for whatever I was cooking on it. The 2 FRONT burners are both large and VERY high heat. I cannot simmer a stockpot on a front burner due to this. Pretty sure it changes jam making also. I miss having a burner pan under the grates that come out to EASILY clean instead of a boil over being under the grate. No removal option makes cleaning difficult. The controls for the oven, timer etc. on the panel are very small, and as it is all black, difficult to read. The set up of the start pad and off, etc. is not designed to be simple. And did I mention, too small....a backlit panel or larger letters absolutely needed. Same panel has a curved top edge, looks fine but don't plan on setting anything on it due to the slide off factor (additional timer is usually what I have there) The drawer is smaller than the old range, some older pans would not fit there. But the drawer works well. The oven racks are probably like all the new stoves, spaced too WIDE. Not conducive to using small cookware, (tarts, etc.) Oven thermomenter also will fall thru. Would have used my old racks but of course they didn't fit. As I said, probably all manufactureres do this now, not just Amana. When we were looking all over....features we did not want seemed to be on all ranges. Heats well, bakes great, stays at true temperature, looks great in the same spot with the all black matching all the rest. We cook, and bake ALOT. Strange features may not bother anyone else. But since until it was delivered, and we did not have correct information, it did not make my day. We were able to turn a front burner down from the huge BTU count which helps when all burners are in use. Low does not go low enough. I will still recommend because it does it's job.

excellent performance and good looks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleased with our Amana range in its performance and utility. The oven worked well for cookies, pies, pizza and roast meats, no surprises. The stove top works very well also although I had to adjust the low range heat to get a lower simmer level and fortunately the operating manuals were very helpful in allowing me to do this. The burners heat up very quickly and adjustment of the heat flame is accurate and responsive. Darn good lookiing too- we got the white model.
