Nice stove but.....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well............my new stove was bought because my old one was 20 years old and I had to blow on the burners to light it or use a wand lighter. The new stove is nice but the main front right hand burner has four "super" jets that don't make it possible to simmer foods at all but burns them in those four spots, even on low, therefore, the heating is very uneven and you can't really leave it unattended. I mainly use the back simmer burner for everything. The other disappointment is that the covers for the burners don't clean up easy at all. They come off but even with steel wool, the stains are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to remove. I do like that they can be removed and the underneath is a breeze to clean, (the porcelain) for which I am very grateful. I love there are no dials on top and a quick sweep with a natural cleaner on a cloth is all that is needed. I would recommend it but not wholeheartedly.

Perfect oven for us!

Quality Range

So Ive had a Amana Gas range since 1997, Yeah I can't believe it either!It stil works but needs a lot of TLC. Finally going to get a new one. This is the range were going to get. If its like our old one, It cooked beautiful. If you want a stove that does the job , get a Amana. Dave, South Jersey

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had our range for about 2 months and love it. I love the different burner sizes which offer different heat levels. It’s easy to clean, doesn’t show every fingerprint like my old Samsung range which is wonderful! Even the bottom drawer opens and closes smoothly.

We have always supported Amana as it employes workers here in the US and their products are always 5 star.
The 3 different size burners offer choices for heat and speed
The oven tempure guage is perfect and when starting you are offered 3 temputure choices that are most common.
Having the storage in the base was a must for us.

It's OK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this stove and the front right burner has been a problem. It lights only some of the time. We made an appointment to fix the problem. Has to wait about 10 days for an appointment. On the morning of the appt. the tech called to cancel. And she rescheduled the appt. for a week later.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
