there is only one small flame and two big ones. I am a residental house and my pots are not so big. I pretty much inly have 1 burner to cook on
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am generally happy with the stove, but just wish one of the front burners was the medium size rather than both being large. I am by myself and use a lot of smaller 1 quart size pans, and find the front burners too large for them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stove top is excellent. The burners heat quickly and well. It is well-designed and has none of the many safety hazards my previous, poorly-designed stove had. The oven takes longer to preheat than my previous oven, but once heated, the temperature remains constant and even throughout the oven. (But the preheated signal is not accurate--it alerts too soon. I ignore it and use an oven thermometer.)

Simple, Convenient, Reliable Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an Amana range very similar to this one and it lasted twenty-two years. Therefore, it was a no-brainer to purchase another one. Frankly, I like the simplicity of this stove. The four iron grates are easy to pick up and clean underneath, rather than the huge grates on most stoves now. The controls are simple and self-explanatory. Mostly, I like that the broiler is in the oven and not positioned at the bottom of the stove, under the oven. Who wants to get down on the floor to watch what is broiling? Instead, there is a drawer on the bottom that I use for storing cookie sheets, cooling racks, or whatever. As far as I am concerned, this stove has all the features needed for good home cooking. It may not be fancy, but it is reliable and meets my needs perfectly. It is a winner!!

Wonderful oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a new stove after 30+ years. I am very happy with my new Amana stove. Love the heavy duty cast iron grates on the burners. The wide diameter of the burners cooks the food so much more evenly. The oven bakes, cooks wonderfully. Well made oven that I would reccommend to anyone.
