Like old stove a lot better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like Amana products but was surprised that the material for the frame of the stove was so flimsy. Not crazy about a black glass top either. It shows everything. I like the burner that can be a small or large, except if you use the small feature, the burner's outside edge of the large feature get bright red and very hot, so if you spill something it's a mess, plus it's hot on your hand. I had a hard time with the drawer too. That is a lot smaller than the old stove. I had to take my baking pans and store them somewhere else because it wasn't going to fit in there. My old stove also had three racks in the oven. I bake a lot so having to go back to two is a shock. I'll have to see if I can order some more racks. I also had to wait three months for this stove. Luckily, it was summertime, and I don't bake that much.

Poor drawer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Find the lower drawer very poorly designed. Does not close smoothly to stay aligned with unit. Does not have a full panel in back causing items to fall under stove.

Love Amana products

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Amana products. I currently have a refrigerator and dishwasher and the new electric range completes my kitchen. The oven is roomy and the controls are easy to use. I love the 'melt' feature as I frequently am melting butter or chocolate.

Liked my old stove better
