Okay, not thrilled.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old Kenmore range (25 years) finally had too many things wrong with it to repair, so I wanted to get the closest thing to it I could find. I thought the 30-inch Amana Electric was very similar in looks and features. After using the new stove for several weeks, I still miss my old range. This one takes much longer to preheat, doesn't seem to register as hot in the oven, and the timer is very difficult to use. You cannot easily add or subtract minutes once you have started it. Have to stop everything and start all over. Don't appreciate that oven temp and and oven timer share same controls. Not very flexible. Old stove had both oven timer and stovetop timer that you could use simultaneously. I dearly miss that feature. Oven is still nice and large and oven window is nice as well. I'm okay with a basic stove, but expected it to be a little easier to use than it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] unfortunately we have a a small older house that will only allow for certain size fixtures thru the doors , and even tho the stove is small we still had to remove the door handle but we love the product

Oven Heating Element

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the flat top cooking surface and it's easy clean up. I was surprised when I got it home and found the exposed heating element in the oven. I bought online and picked up at a local store. The description didn't say it had an exposed heating element. I wouldn't have bought this model if I knew that. Now that it's in my home I'll keep it and live with the exposed element.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
