I bought my Vitamix after having multiple cheap blenders fail. The Vitamix has a powerful motor that can handle almost anything including very thick smoothies and frozen desserts. Vitamix offers the best warranty on the market (10 years). It also is extremely easy to clean. We've used it daily since it arrived 2 months ago. This is a great blender and is definitely worth the investment.
My 7 years old daughter never tried anything green, she was refusing to eat vegetables and fruits. We were at Costco and she tried one green sorbet with spinach and she fall on love with it, we got the vitamix and she is drinking a green smoothie everyday and now she is trying different recipes and vegetables. Love my Vitamix and it is definitely changing my daughter's nutrition for good for ever.
Pros: Durability, Easy to use, Recipe Enhancement, Power
The product is looks good, but has a problem with sensor to starts. sometime when push starts, the machine is not starts, need to turn off and turn on again, and move cup little bit, then it will starts.
I bought my vitamix recently( another one) and Iam very happy with it because Iam able to make great recipes more quickly and easy, like soups, nut milk, sauces and more....I love it...
Pros: Texture Quality, Durability, Versatility, Power
Have had this thing for a couple of months now. It's like blending with a lawn mower, or an airplane engine. Powerful. Everything comes out smooth now matter how chunky it went in. Great for hummus and smoothies/shakes. The "no-cook" soups, while an interesting idea, don't really taste right because of not sauteing the ingredients first. The "instant sorbet" actually comes out pretty good. Definitely blend more often than in the past, a couple of times a week. We leave it out on the counter so can use without hesitation. Absolutely don't need the programmed settings on the more expensive models. It's a blender. You turn it on, when it looks smooth, you turn it off. Rarely need to run for more than 40 seconds.
