I purchased my Vitamix online from the Vitamix website, it was delivered within the week, I am very happy w/ it’s performance. I primarily use it for breakfast smoothies, it’s capacity allows me to make 3-4 two cup smoothies at once so I do not need to do it every day. It blends everything very well, no stray chunks of food or ice, and the ease of cleaning by adding water and a drop of soap is great. Features I appreciate the most aside from motor and thorough blending: the low profile so it can fit on the cupboard under the top cabinets AND the clear snap on lid. Have not attempted to use the WiFi features yet. The recipe book has some great ideas I plan to try as well. Very happy w/ this purchase.

I've had my vitamix for 14 years to be exact. No way that I could ever go back to anything else. This is an investment piece.

I have been using my new ascent 2300 since Christmas. I use it mostly for making single serve smoothies. I am having a difficult time getting the baby spinach or kale to fully mix in. I follow the order of ingredients. The problem is that pieces of spinach or kale stick to the side of the container. I have to scrape down the sides with a spatula and then reblend. Other than that, I love it.

10 year warranty is awesome and I'm glad that the company backs their product for the price point. I need to look at all the possibilities before I can give it a excellent rating. Been making soup and nut butter, to this point. Cleaning is about the only issue I have with it right now. The container is made of a material that cleans pretty well although, with the blades so close to the bottom, it does take a little work. Also, if I had to say another very minor issue, the tool to help push the items off the edge, could be a little longer to get the mixed nuts pushed into the area that can be blended. With the nut butter, I do turn it off and do a bit of scraping before the final product.

I got this a Christmas gift (although I picked it out and set up the purchase), and I couldn’t be happier. We had a Ninja before, which worked well and suited out needs, but the vitamix is just that much more powerful!
The tamper is a great feature for making thinks that are not a liquidy (ex: hummas, or black bean spread)!
I haven’t tried everything I want to yet, but I have full faith in this machine. I am looking forward to making baby food, and peanut butter, and lactose free ice creams.

The only con I have, is that the jug is wider and shorter than the others. I thought that would be a good idea for counter space, however I think the taller slimmer hub would work better, as sometimes ingredients stick to the sides rather than going down to the blades. But over all, it’s a great product.
